Served on tap at the Cellar. Appearance was reddish amber with light head and lacing. Aroma was kind of weak but hinted at sweet malts. Taste was good with a malty profile and a light hop finish. Palate was decent. Overall, a malty but nice Ocktoberfest.

On tap at the Sister Bay, WI. Lions Club venue for this year’s Fall Fest, served to plastic showing a hazed, coppery brown color, with a fairly frothy, off white head, and some wavy spray-like lacing. The nose was slightly sweet & malty, with a little toast & caramel. A little less than medium bodied with fair carbonation, the taste contributed some modest, earthy bitterness. Not much of a caramel sweetness advocate when it comes to Marzens, but decent enough, and quite drinkable for the occasion.

12oz bottle to snifter. Clear copper colored. Uneventful aroma. Malty. Harsh carbonation masks some flavor.

12oz bottle picked up at the brewey.."Stonetoberfest". Thin filtered orange-copper. Not so impressive. Kind of macro brewhouse, faint noble hop aroma. Very thin, insipid body. That said, the flavor is tolerable..amber malt, caramel. Subtle and easy going, but sort of a hollow final product.

On tap at Stone Cellar as Stonetoberfest. Clear amber with a thin beige head. Aroma of grains, toasted malt, caramel and very mild hops. Taste of toasted malt, mild toffee, sweet malt and bready malt. Light bitter finish.

Tap at the brewhouse - I’ll assume that this one is the one they are calling "Stonetoberfest." Orange pour, thin head. Mild nose of sweet caramel. Thinner palate but about right for the style. Mild caramel and biscuit taste but kind of flat.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a orange hue with a white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has notes of sweet grains and bread and not much else. Flavor has a bit of nuttiness as well as sweet grain and bread.

On tap at the brewpub, AKA Stonetoberfest, pours a clear reddish color with no head. Smooth drinking, thickly sweet and malty, nothing to really write home about, but not a bad offering.

On draught at the Appleton brewpub as "Stonetoberfest." Pours aclear copper amber with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin off-white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet multi-grain malt, some dark pitted fruits, a touch of bubblegum and some candi sugar. Taste is medium bodied, malty, with a mild bitter aftertaste. Finish is semi-dry with a light malt aftertaste. It’s a little drier to most other octoberfest beers I’ve tried bust still refreshing.

Stonetoberfest. Hazy orange/copper color with a thin foamy white head. Light hoppy, slightly sweet aroma. Strong hop taste with a roasted and bitter finish. Kind of off the mark for an Oktoberfest.
