Sammy (3041), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 5, 2007 Dark amber with white cream head. A toast aroma, malt is the first taste. Lace shows on the glass as I drain it. Now I taste the malt and the roast, some hop shows in the finish. The mouthfeel is close to full. This is fine drinkable. Bitterness in the aftertaste.
ukoolaid (566), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA May 14, 2006 On tap in Bethel. Pours a clear red amber with little head. Mild and fairly sweet with clean malts and almost no hop character. I’m not a fan. joey_capps (1464), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Aug 26, 2002 Rich amber colour w/ good head & excellent lacing. Nice aromas: fruit (orange, grapefruit), pine needles w/ peppry notes. Full-bodied w/ nice resiny feel. Fresh malty, fruity (grapefruit) flavours. Nice lingering spicy, hoppy finish.
