Poured into a 4oz taster at Stone. Black as night, small dark head. Smells like crazy of... ....everything but the kitchen sink. This is an aptly named beer. Tastes like when you were a kid and made a "suicide" at the soda fountain, mixing every soda together to make a vile looking but oddly enjoyable concoction. Very heavy notes of molasses, licorice root, and plenty of dark chocolate and astringent coffee flavors. It is almost a novelty of a beer, enjoyable, but likely best in small servings. Very sweet & thick on the pallet. While it is enjoyable, 4 oz is my limit i think. 404 error, drinkability not found.

On tap from Stone Pilot tasting. Black in color. Smoke on the nose. Full bodied. Quite a blast of differing flavors of chocolate malt and earthy spice. Alot going on flavor wise and not so sure if they overwhelm each other. Outside the box this beer.

Again with these two. Pours dark brown/black with a thin off white head. Smells sweet and dark malty and chocolatey with lots of smoke. Tastes smokey and chocolatey sweet. Smoke flavors are slightly sour. Finish is sweet with a slight alcohol burn. Full body, ok carbonation. It burns, hot hot hot.

On tap at Stone. Wow. Super duper smokey. Not cigarette or roasty, but rather dirty and peaty. Black color. Very fun to drink. Lightly sweet.

1st rating, on tap at the world bistro today with wetherel, dr.bill, and later doubleo. When Bill said he thought this turned out interesting, I wasn’t sure what to think. Pours black with no head. Nose is sweet and very smoky. Taste is smoky, crazy smoked, one of the smokiest beers I’ve had, its not really a smoked malt vibe, more a smoky meaty, fumes kinda thing.
