From the most unlikely yet intensely imaginative trio that is actor and uber-geek champion Wil Wheaton, alternative news website Fark.com creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO/Co-founder Greg Koch, comes an imperial stout unlike any ever made. Brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans and partially aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this viscous yet silken brew erupts with an oaky, nutty bouquet and rich flavors of vanilla, toast and bitter chocolate. Enjoy now or cellar this celebration of nth degree passion and geekery applied most gracefully to the craft of brewing and collaboration-Drew Curtis/Wil Wheaton/Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout!

Pours a nice black. Coffee/chocolate and little tobacco aroma. Flavor is awesome, rich and smooth, like roasted espresso loaded with dark bitter chocolate and kinda sweet. The alcohol is well hidden among the massive flavors.

Choc with a hint of nut in this dark brown brew with a light brown small head. Full bodied creamy chocolate earthy not much nut flavor with a nice warming aftertaste. Imperial yes. Balanced yes. 13% yes.

Had on-tap at Craft Conundrum in Charleston, SC. Received a 12 oz. pour in a tulip. 3.75 A: Black color. Came with a short head but left lots of beige lacing. 3.75 S: Pecans instantly stick out. Big roastiness, leathery bourbon, chocolate, molasses, and caramel. Malts do a good job at balancing out the roast. 3.75 T: Bourbon is somewhat mild, but adds leather, vanilla and oak. Pecans add a pleasant nuttiness. Flavors per above. 4.0 M: Heavier medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Moderately creamy. 4.0 D: It’s a solid brew. Good flavors and barrel aging. It just doesn’t have the chops to enter the upper echelon though. ★ 648 characters DavoleBomb, Jan 10, 2016

Bottle shared, thanks Arturo! Great stuff, quite creamy and peanut butter forward, lovely notes of dark chocolate and vanilla, licorice, chili, bit of oak, smooth finish with a warming edge. Great stuff, quite deep and heady!

Pours up black with a thick tan head. Aroma is bourbon, wood, coffee, molasses, roasted malt and chocolate. Bold flavor, with bourbon for the headliner and chocolate, roast malt, coffee, molasses and wood in supporting roles. A heavy hard hitter and makes no bones about it. Thick heavy texture leaves a moderately sweet finish with bourbon.

This giant of a stout is packed with dark fruits, chocolate and whiskey notes. It does not hide its big 13% ABV, content to destroy the palate with a huge tongue-prickling wash that settles into a chocolate, raisin, soy fade. Pours pitch black with a slight light brown head.

22 oz bottle obtained through Tavour. Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout is a dark black brown liquid with a thin head of cafe au lait colored bubbles. the Nose is rich and fermented blend of chocolate malts, Oak and a bit of vanilla. Body is a bit silky. Taste is again sweeter darkly roasted malts with bits of cocoa, oak and vanilla. there is an odd, yet not unpleasant sweet soy aspect to the nose and taste. an excellent collaboration beer.
