COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From the most unlikely yet intensely imaginative trio that is actor and uber-geek champion Wil Wheaton, alternative news website Fark.com creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO/Co-founder Greg Koch, comes an imperial stout unlike any ever made. Brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans and partially aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this viscous yet silken brew erupts with an oaky, nutty bouquet and rich flavors of vanilla, toast and bitter chocolate. Enjoy now or cellar this celebration of nth degree passion and geekery applied most gracefully to the craft of brewing and collaboration-Drew Curtis/Wil Wheaton/Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout!

A raspberry like aroma. Maybe its a wine barrel. I get maybe a wiff of wood. Body is dark and tan. Body is thick. Flavor is very sweet and alcohol flavored. Too strong, not roasty enough. Not good.

(bottle) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of smoked fruit, chocolate; creamy palate; intense, rich balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish

Pours thick and black with a fine but lingering mocha head. Nose is complex and blends coffee, plum, oak, chocolate and vanilla into a nice boozy mix. Flavor leans to the sweeter side but has enormous complexity and plenty of warmth. Almost like drinking a brandy. Great stuff.

Smells of French toast and coffee chocolate and other baked goods. Silky midnight black in color with small cream color head light lacing. Taste is amazing sweet smooth roasted malts followed by huge hints of vanilla and a touch of milk chocolate to finish the flavor profile. Booze is hidden very well for the ABV. Full creamy body with nice carbonation for this phenomenal brew. Love this stout my favorite ever need more stout like this out there instead of one noted stouts. Badass brew west cost owns the stout game.

emusche (191) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 7, 2016
Pours black with thin, quickly dissipating head; non-existent within five minutes of pour. Aromas of bourbon, molasses, vanilla, rye, pecan, faint tart Door Count cherry; trace alcohol notes. Taste is whiskey, smooth oak vanilla, treacle, but fainter than aroma. The cherry is still present as well and plays nicely. Hint of alcohol, but not overly boozy. Smooth, oily mouthfeel, nice and chewy. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From 22oz bomber to pint glass. Pour is an oily black color with a nice cocoa head which dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is bourbon, coffee, molasses, roasted malt and chocolate, oak, faint vanilla, dark fruit notes, cherries, and spicy booze notes. Flavor is dry and roasty with rich dark chocolate, light espresso, licorice, and faint oak and booze. Really enjoyed this bottle.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out black topped with a brown head. Nose is bourbon barrel vanilla brown sugar chocolate cinnamon and a bit of booze. Taste is more of the big roast malts bourbon barrel vanilla cinnamon a nice not over the top chocolate sweetness.

Crowler from Growler Guys, Neridian. Deep dark brown/Black with a thin brief light brown head. Lots of oak cinnnimon and chocolate inthe aroma or dark sweet roasted malt. Similar flavors but also with a little cayenne peer maybe at the end. A Mexican Mayan mocha sort of. Very good.

Bottle courtesy of maniac. Pours thick dark, almost like a reduction. Bourbon, chocolate, with hints of vanilla and nuts. Heavy roasty stout. Not stone’s best. But still good. The geek in me was satiated
