From the most unlikely yet intensely imaginative trio that is actor and uber-geek champion Wil Wheaton, alternative news website Fark.com creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO/Co-founder Greg Koch, comes an imperial stout unlike any ever made. Brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans and partially aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this viscous yet silken brew erupts with an oaky, nutty bouquet and rich flavors of vanilla, toast and bitter chocolate. Enjoy now or cellar this celebration of nth degree passion and geekery applied most gracefully to the craft of brewing and collaboration-Drew Curtis/Wil Wheaton/Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout!

Tasting at Bruceís pad. Opaque black - brown beer. Good tan head. Oatmeal and dark chocolate on the nose. Palate is soft and viscous with fine carbonation. Mild dark chocolate, mellow coffee. Trace of bourbon and spice. Light dry finish with a good coffee bourbon bitter linger.

Bottle; Pour is murky dark brown with a fine bubbled, one finger khaki head int his glass ; some light, sticky lacing present here, with moderate retention. The nose is initial chocolate morsel, nut bread, dark fruit, and light booze - The flavor profile is bitter chocolate initial, mild booze, more dark fruits present, while moving to a silky mouthfeel thanks to the rye note - the barrel treatment (vanlla , bourbon) is modest, but finds its way to tongue eventually - this brew lacks heft - the center work well , though - i was impressed by the alcohol content, for what thatís worth - a nice one to try, i thought - but the finish eventually wears on you

Tap. First of all, what a stupid name (or stupid Ratebeer search algorithm). woot was not found. I finally had to look up Stone Brewing Co. and go through their all their beers to figure out it was w00t with zeros in it. The beer, however, was very good. I got some fruity flavors up front with the malt. It then ran through chocolate and bourbon and finished with a strong alcohol burn. I only had a small snifter, but at 13% and this level of sweetness, I wouldnít want much more. Very good, but best in small doses.

Bottle. This needs to be aged more. Very harsh. If u have a bottle or two let it mellow a year or two. Alcohol burn is fresh and overpowers the malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serving: 22 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a viscous black color with a frothy dark tan head. The nose is powerfully boozy. Lots of roasted malt and spicy rye in the nose. There is heavy alcohol and roasted malt bitterness up front. Tons of rye, raisin, licorice, and nut notes to go with. Slight oak and vanilla emerged as it warmed. In true Stone fashion, this is an all-out assault on the tongue. Too much so in my opinion. Hot and brash.

22oz bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, some light bourbon and oak, a little rye and wheat and nuts, coffee and chocolate, and some alcohol. Flavor the same with a good amount of alcohol on the finish. Smooth texture. A good beer but a little too boozy.

black, small brown head with long retention. very boozy. chocolate, nuts, some spice, vanilla, toast, oak, molasses. bourbon is absolutely noticeable, but itís not in-your-face like so many bourbon barrel aged things are, which is a good thing to me. very sweet, very bitter, umami. full body, thick and creamy feel, soft carb, fairly hot. i didnít want to buy this because god the name is so incredibly nerdy and embarrassing, but iím glad i did it anyway.

Tap pour - @ RHP. Pours jet black with minimal tan head. Aromas of roasted nuts, milk chocolate jump out. Silky smooth palate with a bit of pop at the end. Taste is delicious with lots of malt, chocolate, toasty roasty goodness and a bit of bourbon sweetness. Long and strong, not much burn though for the listed ABV. Awesome.
