COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
From the most unlikely yet intensely imaginative trio that is actor and uber-geek champion Wil Wheaton, alternative news website Fark.com creator Drew Curtis and Stone CEO/Co-founder Greg Koch, comes an imperial stout unlike any ever made. Brewed with rye, wheat malt and pecans and partially aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this viscous yet silken brew erupts with an oaky, nutty bouquet and rich flavors of vanilla, toast and bitter chocolate. Enjoy now or cellar this celebration of nth degree passion and geekery applied most gracefully to the craft of brewing and collaboration-Drew Curtis/Wil Wheaton/Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout!

Tasted on 10/1/13 from a 650mL bomber bottle purchased at Main Street Liquors in Nashville. Pours a completely opaque, nearly black with an average, but very dense tan brown head that leaves fairly thick lace. The nose is very dark and roasted, dominated by molasses, coffee, and burnt brown sugar, with caramel, toffee, a nutty aroma, and creamy vanilla all underlying. The flavor is the same, super creamy coffee, caramel, toffee, and vanilla up front, with all of the burnt molasses, brown sugar, and nutty note all on the back of the palate. The body is massively full with lighter, but still stinging carbonation, and a super long vanilla, toffee, creamy coffee, molasses, and burnt brown sugar finish. It is worth noting that throughout, this beer is extremely dry, with almost no sweetness whatsoever.

Pours jet black and smells of coffee and buttered toast. Tastes of chocolate, more coffee (black of course), vanilla and plenty of dark fruit - plum, mostly. Smooth and rich with just a hint of booze. Excellent stuff.

Black, with a dense, cascading beige head. Smells toasty, with a good deal of coffee. Smooth and rich. Lots of coffee and chocolate fudge, with some vanilla, too. I liked it.

Bottle. Pitch black pour. Roasted malts, sugar, caramel, plums on the nose. Very sweet tasting with dark fruits, molasses and maple syrup taste. Good beer, not great. Way too sweet and there?s no way this was partially aged in bourbon barrels. Picked up absolutely zero bourbon taste or flavor. Cellar would help it. Booze is hidden very well though!

Poured from a bottle. First off, pours like molasses. Never saw a beer pour like that. Great lacing and head. Perfect balance of alcohol. Like a caramel sundae.

Sampled at AOT Wilmington. Deep and dark pour, three finger tan head. Aroma of nut, oak, earth, burnt malt and booze. Flavor is similar. Boozy but not to the 13% it is listed at. Burnt flavor. Nutty and I can detect the whiskey for sure. Quite a ride. Better than the imperial Russian I say.
