4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
One of my all time favorite beers Stone has done! Had this one out of my growler after sitting for about 5 days so it had very low carbonation. Perfection... pours as black as your ex girlfriend?s heart with a quickly dissipating brown head. First smell is of rye with a hint of bourbon and a very small amount of pecan. Taste wise at this point of maturation is a very smooth chocolate flavor with the sweetness of pecan and a little bit of bourbon on the back end. If you are fortunate to find this beer anywhere at this point, drink it! Although with caution because this beer packs a deceptive punch at 13% abv.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma: heavy caramel, bourbon, overripe fruits, prunes. Appearance: black, hardly any head. Taste: heavy sweet. Palate: sweets carry on, almost over powering, some coffee in the finish, light bitters at the end. Overall: almost quadruple in the aroma, but nice Imperial Stout. Pint at Stone Tap Room, San Diego.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled 6/25/13, enjoyed 9/22/14. Pitch black pour with rich looking medium brown/cocoa head a quarter inch high. Rich bourbon, hints of pecan, molasses, bitter florals and rye as well. Scents of rich dark fruits - plum, currant, grape and raisin, booziness apparent. Very soft carbonation, creamy thick mouthfeel, effervescent finish characteristic of big BBA beers. Really bold rich flavor, dark fruits from the aroma in the forefront, cocoa and rich coffee, brown sugar and molasses, carmel, rye and bourbon toward the finish.

[5645-20130816] Bottle. Aroma brings back an old memory of some type of candy, like a tri-coloured taffy, mixed with a decadent chocolate dessert. Black body with medium-lasting tan head. Roasted spiced grains flavour. Full body. Tasty. (7/4/8/4/16) 3.9

1 liter growler from Stone Escondido as W00t 2.0. Almost black pour with a tan head and nice lacing. Fairly light aroma of dark and sweet malts. Flavor is molasses at first with some warning booze and figs in the finish. Nice.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Can’t tell much from the wheat in here but the pecans are more prominent and the rye obvious. The barreling is light but the beer is already so strong and a little sweet that it corms through nicely as well. Fairly bitter with more than ample sweetness with a dark fruit, molasses, hops and cocoa bent to it. Pretty awesome brew that I think will only get better with a little age (as the only small faults were a little bit of overagressiveness, especially on the Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout nose. Rich like a worldwide almost, but waaaaay more hopped, with a splash I bourbon. Seriously...5 days later. More bourbon on the nose and flavor than b4. In a good way."

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Another great stout from Stone. Strong roasted and floral hop aroma. Pours very dark with a thin ring for a head. Thick and viscous with a smooth dryness. Strong roasted chocolate flavors up front with a lasting bitterness. The IBU’s must be high. Well balance and the alcohol is hidden.
