On tap at Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis CA. Pours black, with a ton of lacing. Aroma is of dark fruits. Full flavored brew with rum, dates and raisins being the most predominate. Still a little hot on the palate. Very good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hat ebenfalls alle klassischen IS Zutaten. Viel Röst, Nuss und Fassflair. Eine dezente Süße und üppigste Vanilleflavours runden das Qualitätsbierbild ab. Klasse. 0,15/3€ vom Fass in der STONE BREWERY BERLIN.

Finally grab a version of this. Sweet, pecan, a bit of bourbon, caramel, lots of caramel. Wish it were a little colder outside for this but it is tasty. Finish is long lasting. A little bourbon sweetness up front and then you are left with a bittersweet chocolate taste about 5 minutes after your sip.

Dark brown almost black pour, with a dark tan brown head. Strong alcoholic aroma of caramel, licorice, vanilla, roast, bourbon. Very sweet flavor. Quite complex beer. Good, not great.

Pipe tobacco, vanilla, cherry, and fudge aromas. Taste is dark chocolate fudge, dried cherries, vanilla, roasted nuts, black licorice, and roasted malt. As it warms a stronger plum and fig presence appears to compliment the other flavors.

On tap at Brunzies. Very mild aroma, but notes of vanilla, bourbon, oak, chocolate ... farking ’ell, it’s aromatic. Dark black opaque with thin head. Medium heavy body, with medium carbonation. Sweet, musky, bourbon, a little diacetyl, vanilla, alcohol warming, roast, and light fusels. Really nice flavor profile with sweet finish and after. Nice.

2016 bottle from AA. Soysauce, deep roasted cacao nibs, star anise and vanilla as it warms. Syrupy and sweet on the palate with lots of star anise / licorice standing out. Cacao and faint cinnamon sticks. Hides the abv very well. Solid stuff.
