3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2014 Bottle: Bright gold with slight amber-orange tints, great clarity & topped with a chunky white head that sinks to a foamy collar leaving sticky lacing behind. Aroma is surprisingly powerful & very nice! Lots of dripping wet, pungent grapefruit-y & citric notes, wet hops, pine, mild dankness, grass, & some gushing passion fruit. Taste is a touch watery, but still has plenty of flavor... Grass, citrus flesh, mild green onion, cracker malts, pine, a hint of bitterness, a touch of tropical fruit, leading to a relatively dry finish. Crisp mouth feel, very light. I was quite surprised by this, but I shouldn’t be, as Stone usually makes solid hoppy beers. Very tasty session IPA... the only thing keeping this from actually being a "go-to" for me is the price.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Given that this is sold as a session IPA it is not too bad. Decent taste at a lower ABV.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Keg at Brewdog Camden. Light golden orange coloured pour with a thin white head. Aroma is nice dank citrus, floral notes. Light chive, spring onion on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of crisp base grain, highish carbonation, earthy slightly dank citrus on the flavour as well. Palate is semi crisp with a dry finish. Uber drinkable. Very tasty for the abv. Suburb beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Lovely aroma of mango, botanical hints, peanuts and pineapple jelly. Flavour of pine, mint and grapefruit. Thin body with an oily texture. Fizzy. A 4.5% ABV hop bomb. Reminds me of BrewDog’s Dead Pony Club.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Let’s see how the arrogant ones deliver a sesh IPA. It’s got a nifty pour, a clear yellow body with a creamy head. The aroma is zest, pip, and grapefruit... mayhaps with a touch of the litter box. The malt appears in the flavor as watery grain. The hops come across as in the nose, a bit more catty, and the bitterness level is moderate, although it does linger for quite a while. Dry finish. It’s okay.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Poured a bright yellowish color ale with a medium size white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus notes is really enticing with nice floral undertones. Taste is also dominated by nice citrus and grapefruit notes with some floral undertones and limited bitterness. There is some small dose of residual sugar notes that are noticeable with some non-descript malt notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Nice to see that you can get this nice hops profile without having too much alcohol.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle into pint glass. Light piss color with low to moderate head. Just a beautiful aroma on this. Really psyched me up for the beer. Flavor was a bit of a letdown however. The hops are there, but since this is a much lighter beer, they don't really have anything else to interact with. A bit one note and thin, but certainly a decent beer and one of the better session IPAs I've had. I just wish it could have lived up to aroma.
