4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a clear golden with lacing white head. Abundant aromas of citrus and pine. Very crisp. Taste is surprisingly easy drinking but heavy on flavor. Lemon citrus with floral notes. Hard to believe its such a lite beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @ De Klomp. Pours pale golden with a small white head that slowly dissipates without leaving much trace on the glass. Smell is fruity and grassy with crackers, grapefruit, mango, lychee, star fruit, freshly cut grass, chives, pine needles, orange zest and lemon zest. Taste is bitter and grassy with crackers, grapefruit, unripe mango, moist grass, chives, pine needles, minerals, orange peal, lemon zest and hints of cardboard. Mouthfeel soft, astringent, tiny watery and light bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit, lychee, moist grass, pine needles, minerals, orange zest and lemon zest. Itís a pity itís a couple of months old when it reaches us in this part of the world. Itís a solid session IPA which I hope to have fresh some day.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught at Brendan Behan. Cloudy gold with an inch of white head (rather light for an IPA). Aroma is huge lemon, lemon peel, some grapefruit and evergreen too, touch of sugar sweetness. Flavor is approximately the same (sorry, Iím reviewing the day after.) Body is medium-light and slightly oily, moderate carbonation. Overall, a delicious session IPA with lotís of hop flavor and a mellow bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Straw/gold, thick head one finger large. Big hop aroma - juicy tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, marijuana. Taste is crisp and strong with hoppy bitterness. Body is just enough to support all this hop action. Bittersweet with a dry finish. A nice alternative when you are not in the mood for huge syrupy hop-bomb IPAís.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
330ml bottle Rehills Newcastle. This is intense. Huge mango and lychee aromas, sharp almost acidic palate but balanced by some sweet malt. Packs a mighty punch for 4.5%, is rammed full of flavour but I donít think Iíd call it a Go To beer, thereís just too much going on and is one for small doses

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A 12-oz bottle courtesy of my daughter-in-law Shannon in Idaho.. Poured a hazy straw yellow with a pillow white head. Good lacing. Nose of tropical fruit and citrus/pine. Medium body. Smooth in the mouth. Flavor is big one fruit with pineapple and the citrus and pine give it a dry bitter finish. Simply outstanding and shows once again a great beer does not have to be hight in alcohol.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I've been drinking quite a few imperial IPAs lately and almost passed on this beer due to the low ABV. Stone's rep for making great IPAs changed my mind and I have it a shot. I am glad I did. It is sort of like hitting the reset button on your beer palate, and one mouthful reminds you why you love a good IPA. It poured a fairly cloudy, yellow golden straw color with a sizable, coarse, pillowy head. It smells of lemon grass and hops. The citrus smell converts to a bitter grapefruit on the tongue. The hops kick in and then a long complex and fairly bitter finish. The name is appropriate, could be a Go To.

Bottle [from Secret Santa 2014] @ home. Slightly unclear yellow to golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is moderately malty, very hoppy, fruity hops, grapefruit. Taste is moderately malty, very hoppy, a lot of fruity hops and grapefruit, medium to heavy bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Fruity hops, grapefruit and bitterness combined: I love it!
