A few patches on the surface. Sweet and bitter aroma of citric hops. Well blended flavour of grapefruit, lemon and orange shells. Malty sweetness beneath. Decent dry bitter ending. A real pleaser to the palate (18.06.2009). Gypsy19 (617), California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Pours an apricot-gold with a medium-sized foamy head that condenses without collapsing. Aroma is nicely hoppy and quite floral/sweet nectar. Flavor is quite robust for an IPA, releasing the flora and huge citrus hops, with a creamy body and finish. Mouthfeel is nice and full but not at all gooey. Don’t know what else to say about it other than it’s just damn good all around. Flawless for the style. Overall, very good minus. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a medium yellow, with a short-lived white head. Aromas indicating aggressive hopping with west coast varieties are evident in the nose. The palate is dominated by the aforementioned, although there is a nice touch of malt at the finish, which is quite dry. A lingering hop flavor remains on the palate and in the mouth for perhaps a full thirty seconds. A wonderfully crafted American IPA. dalek123 (103), Houston, Texas, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 18, 2009 Pours amber with a thick, pillowy head that lasts throughout with excellent lacing. Perfect level of bitterness, distinctive but not overwhelming. A wonderful experience to be repeated again and again. ALCOHOLNIZM (61), WARWICK, USA

Fresh citrus on the nose, with white grapes; like walking through an evergreen forest after a rain. Hops-forward, pleasant resiny flavor fills your mouoth with pine-bright goodness. Clean, fantastic aftertaste, perfection that lingers in the best way. Very drinkable/sessionable, we order this beer anytime/anywhere. cmonster (75), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 17, 2009 Bomber served in a tulip. Hazy light orange color. Medium off-white head. Nose of sweet citrus (tangerine) and fresh pine. Refreshing and crisp. The bitterness dominates overall. Medium body. Not overly creamy, oily, thick, thin, or sticky. A good balance in mouthfeel. Smooth. This is good brew. Hold it!... As the beer warms the nose develops a heavy artificial floral soap fragrance. The anti-bacterial foaming kind with Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5. Eeehhhck!! Just lost some points. I will drink it faster next time. curly (575), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Pours hazy orange with an off-white head that lingers leaving great lace. Beautiful citrus aroma is a perfect balance between sweet and bitter. Taste matches well with aroma being perfectly balanced. Thick malt supports the entire beer allowing it to be superb.
