Pours a hazy orange yellow color with a great lively white head. Aroma is pretty strong, hop, grapefruit, sweet orange, tang, slight bread, lemon zest, a very sweet floral, pine resin. Taste is awesome, notes of sweet oranges, grapefruit, lemons, resin, pine, and a very strong malty backbone to carry the bitter. Overall a fantastic IPA, great yet still sessionable. Texture is perfectly smooth, full bodied, all around awesome.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle with a Best By date of 11/20/2014. Aroma is rather hop forward with quite a bit of pine resin and grapefruit. A bit of wood and hop resins. Some light cracker and bread notes. Hints of stone and tropical fruit esters. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a small, moderately thick, white head with average retention as it recedes to the edges. Moderate lacing and medium length legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with a bit of bread and cracker notes. A moderately strong bitterness with a hint of alcohol in the finish. Moderately strong grapefruit hop notes with hints of orange and other citrus. Medium light pine resin and a hint of wood. Some faint stone fruit notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice IPA, but nothing special either. Some nice hop character, but it lacks the super fruitiness of the newer hop varietals.

Átlátszó színe aszúhoz hasonlatos, habja hüvelykujjnyi vastag, krémes. Fenséges aromái kecsesen szállingóznak a levegőben, művész hajlammal rendelkezőknek egy napra elég is lenne ennyi. Fenyőfa kiválasztása előtti hangulatok jönnek, a prímet nyilvánvalóan a "tűlevelű komló" illata viszi. Ezzel párhuzamosan természetesen érkezik a komló gyantás karcossága, a homogén keserűség másodperceken belül szinte vághatóvá válik. Nagyszerű IPA-alapvetés, semmi cifrázás, mérnökien precíz munka.

Just Bad. The worst after taste of any IPA, it made me gag. Disgusting. Poured 4 bottles down the drain and hoped it would ruin the houses plumbing system.

Dégustée ŕ Los Angeles lors d’une soirée bien chaude... Trčs bonne IPA, du corps, des arômes d’agrume, de la longueur en bouche... On dirait presque une double.

Great hop aroma and nice appearance. A little sweetness and a mildly bitter finish that is the perfect balance for me. I love this IPA. bottle pour at greg’s new york pad.

An excellent example of a massed produced, but very high quality IPA. Definitely one of my favorite IPAs out there. The aroma after the initial pour is excellent, though I did not have proper glassware(might be even better with a good glass), it pours a beautiful golden honey color. Lots of hoppy aroma before your first sip. Taste is very complex, lots citrus fruity notes, an initial sweetness which turns slightly bitter and then all biter after taste (but in a very good way). I paired this with a spicy Chinese dish. But then kept drinking it long after I finished the dinner. I’ll definitely choose this IPA again!

This pours a semi-clear golden yellow color with a slight head. The aroma is bold with hops. The taste is bitter, dry, and perhaps one of the best IPA brews on the market. Outstanding and a must try!

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2014 Bottle. Only a faint aroma even poured into a glass. Light and citrusy up front, which fads to a nice bitter finish. Definitely a more citrusy IPA, lacking in malt balance. A good beer, but I really don’t understand the hype. At $45 a case it’s seriously over-priced too.
