njbfr (105), New Jersey, USA Mar 6, 2009 A sparkling amber with a thick white head. HEAVY citrus/pine aroma. The flavor the hops impart on this beer match perfectly with the sweetness of the malt giving it a really nice, fruity taste. Finishes a little too bitter for me but nowhere near as overpoweringly as Stone’s Ruination. Very, very drinkable which can let the 6.9% sneak up on you. Very, very good. tjw (10), , Massachusetts, USA Mar 5, 2009 Bottle. A bright orange/yellow color, slightly cloudy. Medium head that disappeared fairly quickly. A citrusy aroma. Initially a fairly hoppy flavor, but a long smooth finish. A very enjoyable IPA, easy to gulp. I prefer dogfish head 60-minute, but this is excellent. jimmack34 (560), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Mar 3, 2009 12 oz bottle. Almost as good as the Ruinition IPA. Pours dark gold with a frothy soapy head. Smells floral, citrusy, and piney. Tastes piney up front, sweet malt, then a nice crisp citrus kick. Sticky aftertaste leaving you wanting another drink. Nice IPA. cprochak (388), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 1, 2009 Bottle from bottleworks. nice floral aroma that pours clear. Flavor wasn’t quite right for my tastes and not too memorable. Light body with a quick finish. grampageoff (13), arvada, Colorado, USA Mar 1, 2009 Pours gold with a finger of really soapy white head. Really killer lacing throughout. Nose is ALL floral hops. Yum. Taste is big hops up front but with a deftly executed malt note. Fairly balanced actually. It sits somewhat thin on the tongue and has a nice bracing bitter finish. Pretty much the epitome of the style. Nice beer. evergreen0199 (259), London, Greater London, England Feb 27, 2009 A truly superb IPA that makes me think of America. Crisp with a great hop taste and aroma but certainly not too overpowering like some hop monsters out of the States. I can now buy this in England which is really good news. Without a doubt, one of my favourite IPA’s. HOPSHUNTER (376), Tampa, Florida, USA Feb 27, 2009 Bottle. Poured a hazy orange. Definitely a hop monster maybe even closer to a DIPA or an IIPA. Big flowery hops aroma. Quite sweet, pretty standard citrus, pine, caramel all are there. Dry finish. mikalooch (158), , New Jersey, USA Feb 27, 2009 Bomber. Pours hazy orange yellow with nice thick white head. Aroma is mainly hops with and a little honey and lemon. Bitter hops and the front of the flavor, a bit of citrusy orange and pine underneath, possibly even some caramel at the end. Fairly thick palate for an IPA, medium carbonation, has bite. Very good.
