Bottle Pours a very pale crystal clear golden orange with a medium sized but dense and creamy off white head. Lots of fine sticky lacing. Aroma is a quite intense floral hops. Very shap. Flavor is much softer than I anticipated. Flowery, and malty but very easy and drinkable. Some caramel and light fruits in the flavor as well. Feel is very smooth and rich. Carbonation is quite soft and just a very drinkable IPA.

On tap. Color is orangy golden with white head. Aroma is floral and citrus with a blast of hops. Taste is excellently hoppy and crisp with a nice balance of malt as it warms. SO GOOD.

Bottle. Bought this one at Mad Mex in North Hills of Pittsburgh. Pours a wonderful amber (but surprisingly clear) color and laces well without a huge head. Nice nose of citrus and sweetness. Great flavor of bitter and slight sweetness along with a nice flavor that is hard to pinpoint. Great stuff, on the lines of Victory’s Hop Devil. This one may be better, but I need about 30 or 40 more to be sure... and then I’ll have to taste Hop Devil again for a case or two. and then....etc

Purchased this one from the brewery--- they filled my growler right from the tap. Such a fun way to get your beer! Beautiful, reddish-golden ale with a light lacy head. Strong hoppy character as advertised, with excellent balance of flavors. Unique and totally drinkable.

Bottle.Pours a clear light copper hue with a rocky head and great lacing. Notes of citrus, pine and malt in the nose. Great balance hoppy flavor that accents the malt in the body. Good pine and citrus bitterness that lingers a good amount of time going down your throat. This is a great IPA.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2005 Thin/Medium, crisp mouthfeel that leaves a ton of flavor behind. Like sparkling spring water with a glorious addition of spicy hops. There is some malt and bread to balance the hops kick. Can’t ever go wrong with this one.

Ahh, hops. Candi sugar, green floral and grassy hops. Grapefruity. Lemon pez. Floral, bitter finish. Really lemon pledgey.

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2004 Pours a bright golden orange. Nice sized white head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops, a little whif of alcohol and malt too. Flavor is full of hops. Palate is happy, wow, might be my favorite IPA to date. Thanks to SHAG for this tasty brew.

The first word that comes to mind when imbibing this wonderful beer is power. Everything about it screams "more". Its hard to believe a beer that is so hoppy can be so well balanced and malty. The mouth feel is incredible as each bite, er...umm. drink is absolutely filled with richness and delight. A true to style IPA that could only have been made with an American Flare.

Pours a deep gold with a thin, yeasty head. Aroma is strong and hoppy with a firm backbone of malt. Very hoppy flavor as well, with the sweet, fruity malt coming in on the back end leading to bitter hop finish. An excellent IPA.
