4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Wonderful aroma of lychees and chompu/rose apples. Nice orange gold, with a healthy white head. Flavours more on the bitter side, with grasses and grapefruits, and still with a trickle of rose water. In spite of the bitterness, it is awfully pleasant and well balanced. Resinous and astringent feel. Great stuff.

Hard to find an IPA better than this. Beautiful resin-fruit nose. Crisp refreshing and depth of flavor. One of the best IPAs out there

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Keg at Porters. Pours amber, with a white patchy head. Very malty nose, toffee, caramel, hay etc and some yeast. Some lighter hops and pine in the background. Quite malty flavour, nice hoppy finish. Dry yeasty and malty finish, medium body and carbonation. I suspect this keg was neither the freshest nor the most recently tapped, because was not as good or as hoppy an IPA as I expected. Will have to rerate.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A- Hops, subtle fruitiness.
A- Dark golden color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Hops, heavy bitterness, slight fruit tones.
P- Full body, sharp texture, medium carbonation, bitter finish.
O- As hoppy as you can imagine, but still not as bitter as you would expect. A definite waker upper but still very drinkable. A solid rich hoppy flavor.

Delicious - a GREAT pale - herbal dominant with superb bitterness - really an APA rather than an IPA - must get more! Hey - in Australia a bottle costs $9 per bottle.. You yanks don’t know how lucky you are.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pulled out the "IPA glass" for this one - certainly didn’t disappoint; lovely clean pale gold body, holding a dense, creamy inch of white foam, painting thick lace in its wake.
Punchy aroma; hops, hops and more hops...as expected! Pine needle, grapefruit rind, cedar, dried grassy herbs, unripe melon, resiny, sappy - I could go on. but lets no discount some detectable biscuity toasty malt in amongst the hop maelstrom.
Medium bodied, subdued carbonation welcomed, resiny on the body lending an almost oily texture.
Intensely hoppy on the body; once again resiny, woody, sharp citrus. Malt makes an appearance as a light golden syrup, biscuit character, providing some sort of relief. Bitterness firm but balanced, lingering grassy character.
Very well made beer indeed. Despite the full on hop character, there’s a good sense of balance and sessionability. Could easily drink a number of these...one is just not enough..

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A nice golden amber color that is clear. Has a very nice thick head with small bubbles that holds very well and leaves a nice lace. aroma has hints of spice, citrus, and hops. the taste is semi sweet with a mild hoppiness and hints of ginger and orange. The finish is smooth and crisp. Very enjoyable, I will definitely drink this beer again and recommend it to IPA lovers. a great beer for the price (less than $10 a six pack).
