Tap. Pours orange gold yellow. Tastes great, I was pretty buzzed by the time I tried it but it tasted great from what I remember.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours cloudy orange-gold like nectar. Mostly white head settles quickly to a nice bubbled rim with a yeasty coating. Aroma wafts mildly sweet floral citrus hops and bread. Crisp to the palate and mildly carbonated. Orangey citrus and bitter hop city. Somewhat creamy but finishes dry. A little grass and lemon. Fruit flavors somewhat lacking. For bitter hop lovers to be sure and a reference IPA. Ain't no Two-Hearted though and probably somewhat over-rated in my book.

Never gets old. Perfect balance of aggressive hops with malt enough to stand it up. She always looks good poured into a pint glass, she smells delish and the mouthfeel really takes it home. Everything in a west coast stye IPA is here and in near perfect proportions

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A: Hazy Golden Straw Hue, Passes Most Light, White Head, Great Lacing
S: Piney, Mildly Grapefruit Rind, Mildly Grainy
T: Piney, Mildly Resin, Mildly Citrus Rind
M: Great Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Semi Bitter, Mildly Drying
Overall, a solid common IPA, I can definitely see what it is a staple, but will definitely kill the palate.

Guys. Itís too much. Aroma - shit, really shit. Then you let it be for 1-2 minutes. Really different. Sour, hoppy and "not ready for you" is coming up. Pours- light amber with small white top. Now youíre getting closer to arome a well, smells a litle sour and I would say kinky. Taste now - first taste is like Stella with some added water, then you get the hops, then taste varieties and aftertaste .... uugh
Not easy. Dry taste. Need more..... and some more for the taste after the first sip.

Pour hazy blond, two finger white head.
Smell super big floral hops, sticky, pine needles
Taste bitter floral sticky hops
Mid body. Think Ruination may be easier to drink
Good if you are into being punched in the face with bitter hops, well done

Iíd be hard pressed to find fault with this aromatic and flavorful IPA. With a beer this good it really comes down to, do you love the hops they used? I know I do! Like most Stone hop-forward beers, drink sooner than later.

This is now my standard drinking IPA--it doesnít flag in crispness and potency, and has a proven record of satisfaction over time.
If you want a reliable IPA that wonít lose its appeal over time, hereís a place to stop. Ruiniation is also excellent.

A classic. Nose of pine and citrus. Palate follows suit. Bitterness is big and welcomed. Good stuff
