By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

On tap at the Well and Bucket in London. First batch from the new Berlin brewery. Pours a rich golden Amber with a creamy, tan head. The smell is candi sugar, citrus, toasted malt. The taste is lots of grapefruit, toasted malt with some sweetness that is counterbalanced by a decent bitterness. Light/medium on body with fairly active carbonation. A touch sweet and malty for my taste but it's nice to have some European made US IPAs available.

Bottle@home. Medium/strong aroma of sweet peach and other fruits. Bronze color with small/medium, staying white head and slightly hazy liquid. Medium/strong sweet taste with peach and some malts, a hint of citrus. Balanced with medium taste spectrum and medium/long aftertaste with hops and sweet malts. Medium/strong body with low/medium carbonation. Overall a reference class IPA with those American sweet notes.

Originally sampled on 4/1/08- Drinking my second as i type this, Appearance is tinged with orange hues. Minimal head, thin lacing, The aroma is fantastic! strong citrus with slight hint of peach? I think the aroma is my favorite aspect of this stuff. 6.9% alc. is well hidden but present, good bitter bite but it doesnt linger. refreshing and lively, definetley worth a try.
