Smell is of spicy hops with a hint o citrus.
The taste is very crisp and hoppy. The herbal, piny hops it first with the fruity hops adding immediately after. A nice malt presence envelops and cleanses the pallet to lead to a nice, smooth finish.
The drinkability of this brew is astounding. Quite possibly one of the smoothest IPAs I’ve ever had. Another top notch brew from stone.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 20, 2008 Typical west coast hop bomb. Not quite as great as Ruination, but not a whole hell of a lot behind it either. Nice little malty beginning before the hops hammer you down too, which is occasionally refreshing in a west coaster. It was my first Stone experience, and I was expecting a punch in the mouth, but got a wonderfully balanced IPA.
