Big IPA pris en Virginie.bonne intensité,très bien balancé , très florale , des agrumes francs, avec ce coté un peut surette avec une petite touche poivré qui balance le tout et qui suit l’amertume bien présente.Pas cher au States , très belle IPA

The floral citrus bouquet in the aroma of this beer is laced with a touch of honey maltiness then the flavor takes over with pine and mango hoppiness balancing a biscuit maltiness. Well balanced finish.

(On tap at Akkurat, Oct 14 2014) Pours a hazy orange-gold with a big frothy white head and lace. Aroma is really quite dank, with lots of citrus rind, a bit of tropical fruit, resin, bready malts and light sweetness, but really all about the hop cocktail. On the palate, more grapefruit and orange zest, orange flesh, green dank hops, a little pine and floral character. Some nice moderately sweet malt in the middle does just enough to hold all those hops. Light early and more citrus pith with supporting pine in the dry, astringent, bitter finish. Medium but very chewy body, light to moderate carb. All about the hops for sure, but it’s not at all unbalanced and is extremely quenching. Perhaps my ultimate preference runs to more tropical fruit but this is a top notch IPA.

12oz brown bottle. Gold pour, thick and creamy white foam, great lacing. Nose has pine, grapefruit, orange. Light biscuit malt, grapefruit and piney hops. Lingering hoppiness and aftertaste of grapefruit orange and pine. Very drinkable, simple but pleasing.

Dimmig, gul-orange, vitt skum. Doft: Humle, bränt socker, kola, billig torkad papaya, jäst. Smak: Jäst, torkad mango, barr, humle, mandarin skal. Känns ej färsk, vilket är högst troligt.

"as far as the regular (ie-not imperial) IPAs go, this is right up there as one of the best. Hoppier (slightly) than Marin’s, with a slightly thinner but slicker mouthfeel. Aroma is near perfect, and it’s cheaper than Marin, which only comes in 22’s."

Translucent orange with a quickly dissipating white head. Heavy citrus aroma, grapefruit and orange, grass and flowers. Alcohol and bitterness are very present. Dry hops, sweet and sour citrus.

Orange clear beer with white dense head leaving lots of lacing. Aroma has sweet tropical ftuits, resin, grapefruit and caramelly sweetness. Flavor is very hoppy bitter, resinous and grapefruity. Palate is quite full and fluffy with feel of bitterness. Finish has very strong bitterness. Aftertaste is dry, grapefruity, piney and soapy. One of the strongest hop loads I’ve ever tasted, most DIPA’s get mellowed out by the thicker malt backbone. The bitterness is almost violently strong. There’s a bit of the annoying bitter caramelliness I dislike about American IPAs, which drops a few points. Still, a very enjoyable IPA.
