lipscomb216 (78), USA Jul 26, 2008 F-ing great. Smell the supercharged Cascade like aroma of the Centennial, taste the 2 row and crystal malts, swallow and feel the smooth bitter bite of the Centennial hops and just revel in the glory of this beaut. zeke626 (302), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 26, 2008 Updated: May 9, 2009[26Jul08] Bottle courtesy of Bottle Trek. Pours a clear, pale, yellow-gold body with white head. Aroma of pale malts, citrus and floral hops, and spices. Well-balanced with a distinct mix of grapefruit and floral hops with green hops near the finish. Medium-bodied with a crisp, bitter hop bite. {8/4/8/4/16}
[09May09] 22 oz. bottle, pours a clear, pale yellow-gold body with a foamy white head. Aroma is a mix of citrus and floral hops with a hint of caramel malts. Flavor is less citrusy than I remember; the floral and green hops are a little more dominant. Still very well-balanced with hints of pine, caramel, and bread. Finishes bitter and dry. {8/4/8/4/16} robinvboyer (1419), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jul 25, 2008 an exellent IPA, but i have to admit i was a bit dissapointed, yes it had all the atributes of a great IPA, but i found it a bit underwhelming for all the hype, and the style ratings. Not a hop forward as i would have expected, quite subdued i found. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil Jul 22, 2008 Bottle@ Marty’s Newton,MA. A nice Ambar color qith a foamy white head. Citrus fruity aroma. Flavor is hoppy and spicy. I loe that one. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA Jul 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice light gold color. Fairly wimpy head. Intense citrus aroma, followed by flavor somewhat less intense than aroma. Great overall balance, though not as interestingly complex as DFH 60 Minute. Long lingering citrus finish. scooterc (13), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at a restaurant in Denver Int’l Airport. I’m an IPA fan, and I was really pleased with this beer. Very hoppy. Great flavor. I like it a lot. 944play (64), Santa Rosa, California, USA Jul 20, 2008 22oz into weizen glass. Brilliant, clear golden color, frothy white head. Cannabis, yeast, and grapefruit aroma. Delicious, fruity, rounded. This is what every pale ale should be as far as mouthfeel - slight alco-heat, NO stickiness, nice hop tartness. Not as bitter as I was expecting. 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Jul 20, 2008 Updated: Jun 16, 200912 oz. bottle into sniffer. Nice light honey color with pretty good white head that leaves some nice lace. Solid refreshing hop aroma - mostly pine and some citrus - with a bit of a sweet malt essence too. Pretty interesting flavor - crisp light malt upfront followed abruptly by a bitter sharp pine flavor that fades into a citrus hop flavor on the finish. Great. Light bodied on the palate with the right amount of carbonation. Overall: good brew, ideal for style, drinkable, and great for hop heads.
(RE-RATE) Same score. Damn this stuff is classy and always a safe bet,
