Jul 20, 2008 Hazy golden pour with an out of control thick and fluffy head. Lots of piny hops with some sweet citrus fruitiness on the nose. Slightly sweet citrus flavor with bitter hops to finish. A little week on the end. Very good IPA. Like a sweeter, weaker version of the Ruination.

Jul 19, 2008 Updated: Sep 17, 2008The best part of this beer was the smell. It smelled great with loads of hops, citrus (mostly grapefruit) and pine. The head was foamy and stayed for a little while. The flavor started off by showcasing the hoppy bitterness and then transitioned to somewhat of a malty sweetness with the slightest amount of coffee hints.

This brew kinda smells and reminds me of what liquid pot ( reefer) would smell like! And that can’t be a bad thing !

Jul 14, 2008 Clear medium gold pour with a nice foamy white head. Lots of citrus hops in the aroma. Definate lemon and grapefruit hops in the flavor, with a good malt body in the background. Nice bitter hoppy finish. Medium carbonation. Very nice IPA.

Jul 14, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Golden with lasting white head and lace. Citrus fresh hop and grassy aroma. Mild sweetness followed by lemony citrus hops, green hoppiness, that lingers in the back of the throat. Crisp and dry. Medium body and carbo. Defintely good enough to be my new staple IPA, now that I can’t get Two-Hearted anymore. Excellent.

Jul 14, 2008 Bottle at a wedding party. Pours an attractive light orange color with a medium white head. Aroma features a citrus/flower bouquet that captivates that is very attractive. Palate is refreshingly crisp, yet packs a huge flavor punch. Primary flavor notes are of grapefruit, orange, lemon, and some malts for balance. Starts and ends with a hoppy bitterness, but mid-palate is almost sweet with its succulent fruit flavors. One of the best IPAs I’ve tried.

Jul 13, 2008 While appreciate the sample of this that was poured for me -- it’s not to say that’s I’d buy/consume a bottle. If you’re a fan of IPAs, then dig in, but if you’re like me, then you’ll taste this and move on.
