Poured from bottle to pint glass, dark golden amber with floating particulate. One finger white head, subsided after about a minute. Not that much aroma aside from hoppy floral notes. Tasting - initial caramel notes, followed by wonderful citursy hoppy carbonation notes. After swallowing, not much lingering aftertaste noiticible. Delicious.

15.03.2013. 0,33l Bottle. Melkebaren, Sandnes. Golden orange colour with white head. Aoma is very strong and dominated by aromatic hops. Much bitterness, almost raw with flowers. Rich with strong bitter aftertaste. Dry mouthfeel at the end. Almost oily. Very good floral bitter flavours with soft notes of pale green spruce shoots. Ver good!!
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 jahshuwuh (181) - USA - MAR 13, 2013
Vibrant gold color with humongous white head. A bready floral citrus hop smell. A pretty intense bitter taste with a fair amount of grapefruit, mid to late palate is a nice yeasty, cracker, bread with a tiny bit of caramel malt. A little too intense on the bitter and lacking in the sweet but enjoyable overall. Gorgeous sticky lacing.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 mikkos (28) - FINLAND - MAR 13, 2013
Pours golden, amberish, with a big head lasting a while. Aromas of fresh hops, floral, fruity, pineapple, pine. Awesome. Taste is similar, hoppy and fresh, fruity and refreshing. Long lasting bitterness follows. This really stands out of the IPAs I’ve drank this far. Great.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 keanex (786) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Best before April 30, 2013.
Appearance: The body is crystal clear with an amber hue, carbonation is showing in the body. The head is a light tan, not short or tall, with good retention. The head settles to a creamy coating covering the top.
Aroma: At first I picked up a lot of piney and grapefruit bitterness on the aroma, on second thought I get some sweet orange with floral touches, a bit of spice. Lots of hops, this is complex with good strength.
Taste: The hops take the flavor here providing an assertive grapefruit and pine bitterness with a malt base there just to balance out the bitterness. This is a classic IPA, no frills but great to drink.
Palate: Creamy body with soft carbonation.
Overall: This is a great IPA. There’s no fault I can really find in this, I’m just not in love with the hop choices since I prefer a more tropical flavor. This is good though, just a bit pricey.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 TheMaha (19) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Stone IPA really hits all the sweet spots that you want in an American Style IPA. Outstanding! I grabbed the 22oz Bomber at a nice $5 but I would recommend grabbing the six at just under $11because you’re going to want more. Pours a tinge under a blood orange color with a light haze and nice bright white head. The first nosing from a tulip was eye opening. There is a lot going on here. Just a hop lovers dream. Fresh hop and sweet grass mix with grapefruit and pineapple and there’s an earthiness that really puts this over the top for me. The carbonation is assertive and delivers all of the hops throughout the palate. Really nice bitterness on the tip of the tongue and the roof of the mouth, juicy and mouthwatering under the tongue and a dry clean finish. The hops bitterness lingers perfectly in the aftertaste. Do yourself a favor keep some of this in the fridge..It’s a no brainer go to!
