12 FL. OZ. bottle. Unclear orange yellow, off-white foam settles and mostly fades. Fresh pungent aroma of floral citrus pine grapefruity hops. Juicy bold coniferous grapefruity hop taste, lightly sweet toasted caramel malt, fuck these guys make great beer, so glad they are finally trickling up to my part of the world. Average carbonation, medium bodied, aggresively hopped. Finishes dry. DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

Nose is floral and soapy. Clear medium amber with a small white head. Light sweet start moves quickly to a quite bitter pine middle and a long dry finish. Medium oily mouth with average carbonation. The archetypical west coast IPA

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle into pint glass. Cloudy dark yellow-gold in the glass with a decent foamy head. Smells like the best kind bud imaginable with fruity notes, I say strawberry. Plenty sour, plenty bitter, nice and dry on the palate. Tastes strongly of high quality hops and grain.
Extremely bitter but I want to emphasize that it goes down very smooth in the finish.
Very pleasant! It's everything I look for in an IPA. If that's your thing, and you like bitterness, I don't think you can go wrong with this. I will consistently come back to this.

Good basic IPA. Nothing really stands out but it tastes like an IPA should.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very, very hoppy both in bitterness and flavor, but its actually overmatched by a malty sweetness. Caramely, toasty flavor complimented by a smooth hop flavor. Extra dry-hopping really shows.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance is a hazy golden, one finger pure white head, a few bubbles rising. Aroma- you can smell this from a long way away. The usual hoppy fruitiness, grapefruit, orange, tropical fruit juice, quite a lot of bready malt detectable too, hints of caramel. Taste- loads of hop bitterness, quite smooth in the mouth, malty, oily hop resins coat the mouth, not that much carbonation, citrus fruits and pineapple juice, zesty orange, a big bitter finish. The malt presence makes this one stand out.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
caramel, grass, spruce, citrus, golden, clear, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter, long finish
Blast of citrus pine hops upon pouring. White foam that dissipates fairy soon with light lacing. Bread/caramel malt initially, then medium bitterness takes over. Medium carbonation with a light oily mouthfeel. Spruce like bitterness is the finish that lasts. Pretty dry at the end. Quite good.
