By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

560ml bottle, shared in two snifters. Overall a very good beer, and I can only imagine the wow factor back in 1997 nearly 20 years ago. However the world has caught up and I’m going to say that their "go to IPA" even at only a sessionable alcohol is better (as I expect their skills are too after nearly 20 years of practice). Nice beer, was huge in it’s time and still very good.

Mooie oranje kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig citrus orange. Smaakt fruitig citrus, orange. Bittere afdronk.

640ML bottle from Dan Murphy’s Slightly hazy orange color. Bright white head that falls to a thick collar. Good lacing left in the glass. Nose is a good bread and toffee background with pine, grapefruit and orange. taste is well balanced. Lots of pine and grapefruit. Subtle caramel and toast background to soften the hops just enough. Long lasting bitterness. Very dry finish. Trademark SD style of beer. Easy to drink and always want more of this.

Pite z kega na WFDP. Cudowne IPA.

From a bottle. Damn this is a nice beer, love the hop profile and the pine resin finish.

Pours a slightly hazy amber with a thick white head and medium carbonation, plus good lacing. Aroma is very promising. Malt backbone and then the hops come through with marmelade, pine, mango and mint. Flavour is nicely balanced medium sweet and bitter long if slightly watery finish. Came with a big reputation and slipped down a treat.

A definite classic. Such a great balance from start to finish. Sometimes I find myself taking out for granted until I have another. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Golden colour with a one finger white head. Strong hoppy aroma, citrus and pine. Taste is really hoppy, slightly sweet citrus and a really nice amount of bitterness. Soft carbonation, oily to watery texture. Great IPA though it didn’t blow me away.

Serving: from tap at Stink. Aroma: moderate pine hop. Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: good, everyday beer that would be great for hot weather.
