Yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Rich aroma with nice pine and grass, some flowers and grape also come up. Medium bodied. Flavor is also strongly piny with lemon also dominating, nice fruits with some pineapple also here. Aftertaste lasts with bitter hops.

Jan 7, 2010 A: Poured with an average-sized, white head, that scored pretty well in the lasting-department. Body is hazy and a light orange color.
S: Excellent aroma. Lots of hops, and lots of citrus... especially orange and lemon. Beautiful.
T: Huge citrus blast at first, then the equally-huge bitterness hits you at the finish. This results in an expected very-long-lasting flavor.
M: Creamy, medium-bodied, average carbonation.
D: Being on the east coast of Canada, I’ve probably been lucky to have the few Stone beers that I’ve managed to find on trips to the U.S. Beers like this one continue to make me want to try more... three for three so far, Stone! Keep up the excellent work.

Jan 3, 2010 Pours out golden with a white head. Strong hops and pine smell. Pretty light mouthfeel with a smooth taste that finishes with a good amount of hops bitterness. Great IPA.

Jan 2, 2010 Beautiful pine and citrus hop aroma. Light in color. Great hop flavor, with a little residual sweetness at the end. Hops linger in the mouth. Delicious

Jan 2, 2010 Super hop-bomb....watch out! A lot of bittering hops used in this, but they do seem to mellow a bit as you drink more. Great PNW hop aroma and flavors, complex...good malt backbone. Not the cleanest hop flavor in the world, but a really enjoyable beer from a great brewery.

Jan 2, 2010 Picked up a bomber of this while I was home in Texas back in August... Nose and mouth exploded with huge citrus, piney hop profile... It was hard to find the malt, but it was there in the background, burried somwhere under all that fresh hops... At the time I found it almost unbearably bitter, but would love to revisit it now that I have a better appreciation for the style.

Jan 1, 2010 had 2 pints in Atlantic city. Fresh hoppy floral aroma and taste. High carbonation and vert nice appearance. Overall very good one of my favorite IPAs

Dec 28, 2009 A grey market import bottle from beerstore.co.nz, so its not up to its best. But here it is anyway: Pours golden, thin white head. Aroma is sweet, with a hint of piny citrus hop, candyish malt. Bitterness dominates initially, a nice unique hop character, with a balancing caramelly malt.
