By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Bottle to tulip. Pours a crystal clear golden amber with a white head. Aroma is of grassy and citrus hops with an undertone of caramel malts. Taste is very much the same, with the addition of some grapefruit. The malt undertone really comes through in the taste, and balances the hops nicely. The MF is smooth and clean, a very easy drinking beer. Overall this is a great readily available IPA.

I think my experience was tainted. After i finished I noticed it expired three months ago. Not anything special. But the bar sucked too.

One of my go-tos, and ALWAYS in my fridge. I love this beer for the intense bitter hops and long finish.

Poured from a bottle. Pours a medium amber with a thin white head. Light pine resin aroma. Slightly oily texture. Nice full mouth feel. Taste of pine and citrus rind. Medium bitterness but not harsh. Lingering flavors and a fairly smooth finish. Solid and refreshing.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of malts, light grape, stale American hops, malty sweet, with a touch if citrus. Taste is stale sweet, malty too old. Caramel bomb

From bottle. Pours hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of old socks, stale hops, caramel, sweet honey. All hops are gone, it tastes sweet, honey-like, lots of caramel. This is so old.

Pours clear golden with a large white head which hangs around. Aroma is citrus grapefruit, earthy, sprucey and a slight mango. Taste is medium bitter, tropical fruits sweet, mango sweet, caramel, slight grass on the finish. Good all-round IPA - bitterness and sweetness delivered in quaffable quantities.

Aroma is very dank hops, slightly earthy, followed by a burst of tropical fruit and pine. Appearance is a lovely golden amber, white head, nice and clear. Taste is dank, earthy, slight tropical fruit and pine, nice bitterness rounds out a pretty complex flavor. Mouthfeel is light to medium body, decently crisp carbonation, aftertaste offers a lot of pine and more tropical than dank profile. Overall, Stone does a very good job with their IPAs. And just about anything else I’ve ever had by them.

Sampled on draught at nFuse at the Marriott in Anaheim. Golden colour with a foaming white head. Aroma of orange marmalade. Taste is very dry, with a taste dominated by grapefruit skin, grass and pine. Hints of green apple. A little too astringent for my English tastebuds, but refreshing and characterful.
