COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Look up "hops" in the dictionary and you’ll see a picture of Stone IPA! "Dry-hopped" for an extra two weeks, this unique process gives our IPA its bountiful hop aroma and rich hop flavor. A full 70+ IBUs (International Bitterness Units) creates this beer’s crisp and refreshing bitter character.

12 oz bottle poured into a standard pint glass. Pours a pale yellow, slightly cloudy but not much, with a tiny off white head. Good lacing. Smells of grapefruit, citrus, lemons and pine. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, and lemons. Not a lot of malt here. Mouthfeel is medium to thin with a drying finish. Good bitterness without being overpowering. Tastes like 2 row with "c" hops. Good beer but I would like more of malt background.

We did a blind taste test between this beer and 4 others to determine which was a better IPA. The beers that were competing were: Stone IPA, Big Sky IPA, Bear Republic Racer 5, Lagunitas IPA, and Full Sail IPA. Here is the video: http://youtu.be/AAPlYzFD4m8

It doesn?t get much better than this IPA, strong, robust, pronounced in every category.

Just like me in the midst of a wild and crazy round of drunken hopscotch, this beer is HOPPY. Very crisp, bitter finish. I can understand how past raters have claimed its somewhat acidic, with an almost medicinal quality at times.. but still, a great beer. Those 70 IBU’s hit your palate like a fat girl crashing a tricycle.

Good beer, although I am not a big hophead. The hop and malt aroma was great. The beer is crisp with lots of bitterness which lasts way after finishing the beer.

She a beauty! On tap @ Bardenay Boise for ever! Maybe. Maybe not. Any way the sales don’t lie. When this beer is on the rotating IPA handle it sells twice as fast as Bridgeport, Full Sail, Lagunitas, Elysian, Fishtale or Hale’s. Stone rules and if you don’t agree u r in the minority. By the way....Great IPA.

bottle - By far one of the best IPA’s around. Fresh, fruity hops aroma that you nose doesn’t even need to get near to appreciate. Full beige head over a light golden liquid. Taste has a sweetness in an undertone, but is mostly hops and more hops. Finish is clean with the bitterness one hopes for in a good IPA.

Pours a hazy orange, with an impressive white head leaving great lacing. An intense, wonderful aroma of hops, floral notes and citrus. Hop blast to start the taste balanced by a lingering mild sweetness. Basically, what any IPA lover would look for. An incredible beer by any measure, and one of my ";goto’s"; when I can’t decide on anything.
