By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Good head retention. Very crisp, hoppy, citrusy flavor with no bite. Great!

Not how I remembered it when I first tried it. The aroma is more piney than citrus, yeasty but less so than a Belgian hybrid Bold, both semi- sweetness and bitterness are way up there and consistent sip after sip. Surprisingly, pleasant butterscotch lingers briefly at the back of the throat then dissipates quickly. Viscosity is about of a 75% DPI. Unique, superb and I have overlooked and missed out on a beast of a beer searching for the latest and the greatest.. It won’t happen again

Pours amber with a smooth head. Peppery hops. A lot of flavor but its dryness blocks out any complexity. Would like something a bit more zesty and fruity and maybe have the mice malt tastes shine a little bit brighter. Still a very decent beer. One for the hop heads!

355ml bottle at the Head of Steam, Durham. Slightly cloudy yellow pour with a fine white head. Very strongly hoppy aroma, with slight floral notes. Strong flavour of hops, with a strange nicotine bitterness on the aftertaste.

From bottle. Balanced tasty ipa, enjoyable and sessionable without being an absolute standout. A fine import beer I’d recommend it.

Bottle. Great pale orange color with a nice white head. Smooth mouthfeel, plenty of alcohol kick, and that floral aroma. From start to finish, outstanding.

Phenomenal stuff from Stone. Pours that golden amber you’re looking for in an IPA but lacks some of the sediment and cloudiness. However, aroma and flavor more than make up for it. Huge hits of lemon citrus and bitter pine assault the nostrils while your tastebuds are just trying to hold on for the ride. Perfect smooth, clovery bitter-hop finish. Amongst the top of the class in IPA.

Golden colour with thin-medium head. Beautiful aroma of grapefruit, caramel and grassy notes. Thin oily body. Lovely balanced taste. A bitter finish complements the malt sweetness perfectly. Nothing in this beer is overdone, yet it still packs so much character.

Bomber. Pours clear orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma of pine and grapefruit, nicely balanced. Flavor is hoppy but light. Palate just a tad watery. Highly drinkable, a standard against which all other IPA’s are judged.
