By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

One of the best IPA’s I have ever had. This brew kinda smells and reminds me of what liquid pot ( reefer) would smell like! And that can’t be a bad thing !

Big hoppy aroma. Hoppy flavor with some maltiness to balance it. Resinous aftertaste. Good American IPA.

Bottle. Always a good time to be had with Stone. These guys are all about hops and IBUís and they arenít afraid to tell you all about it. The smell, taste, after-taste: Hops, hops, hops. Anyone who likes their beer especially bitter should upgrade to the Arrogant Bastard or, if you need even MORE hops, the double Bastard. These guys make a mean thirst quencher

This is your average IPA. Smells great and gives an appearance of the traditional IPA; however, flavor wise, I appreciate that long lasting hops giving the distinct knowledge of the IPA. Kudos on the all day drinking beer for a football game.

Very solid, above average IPA, dry hopped as advertised, plenty of hops. If in an IPA mood, canít go wrong. Love that Costco has a great deal on a 24. Otherwise hard to find it less than $8.99 for a 6r and $9.99 normally. and there are equal or better IPAs for a dollar less.

One a few goto beers on a mass production I feel is perfect. Big hoppy aroma of mango stone fruit and pine. Very hoppy bitterness on the palate and perfect hoppy crisp finish.

Not what I like in an IPA...It starts out ok then fizzles. Doesnt leave that nice hop finish....but I drank it all.

UPDATED: SEP 3, 2013 Bitter, dry, hoppy. Citrus flavor and aromas. Fairly pale and light bodied. Good, but has fallen behind compared to some of the IPAs that have been coming out.

Bronze color with a very small, white head that fades very quickly. The smell is of a nice hoppy citrus. The taste has a very nice fruity hoppy flavor, followed by a nice bitterness. The mouthfeel is creamy.

as it pours into the glass, you are greeted by a beautiful golden beer, with cascading bubbles and a perfect hop aroma. on the palate, the hoppiness is just right, setting of the nice malty flavors hidden beneath. delicious, drinkable and perfect
