Beautiful clear orange witha thick white foamy head. Hoppy, fruity (almost like pineapples) nose. Medium bodied, malty witha nice hop flavor and bitterness. Very good.

Dat lacing. Pours a hazy straw color with a nice white head. Brilliant lacing n the glass. I love it. Fruity estery aroma along the same lines as Ruination. Taste is mostly hops - resin is strong and pine is in there. Mild citrus flavor peaks through as it warms up, but not enough. Good beer, but doesn’t feel very balanced. I prefer a little more malt character in an IPA. I think this beer’s big brother Ruination hits the nail on the head in terms of balance.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a light amber, a tinge hazy, thick foamy head, great retention, great lace. Nose is hops and citrus. Taste slapped my tongue with hops and citrus, extremely balanced, finishes a tad dry and deliciously bitter. Long lasting hop taste in my mouth after sipping. A benchmark in IPA’s, always good, refreshing.

Bottled. Simply fantastic. Pours a nice amber with little head. Smell of hops and malt. The taste is exceptional, the perfect mix of hops and a note of caramel. Finishes superbly with no excessively bite. Would definitely buy again.

Good beer, although I am not a big hophead. The hop and malt aroma was great. The beer is crisp with lots of bitterness which lasts way after finishing the beer.

The perfect American IPA. Beats one of my favorites, too-- draught Harpoon IPA (which is near and dear to my heart, being from Boston). Body is just right-- not too light, but heavy enough to carry the malt and hops. Color is probably a little too light for an IPA, but that’s a minor complaint. Bitterness cleanses the palate without being overwhelming. Outstanding brew. Highly recommended. I would love to try this on tap some day.
