Until I discoved the AleSmith IPA, this was my favorite. And sometimes I still choose this over the AleSmith. This diserves it’s famousness.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is one of my favorite brews in the world. I drink more of this one than of anything else out there. It is a fixture in my fridge. Very citrus in taste and aroma. Pours a golden-amber, nice and cloudy from the bottle. Head is a beautiful froth, if slightly less than a finger. Beautifully refined in bitterness and sweetness, dry and light in body. This brew almost singlehandedly redefined west coast IPAs, and continues to excel. It is rare that other IPAs can even come close, and even rarer for a brew to eclipse the high-quality flavor and all-around goodness delivered in a Stone IPA.

4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great smell of hops, citus and pine. Color is a hazy orange, with a white head. Tastes of earthy hops, pine, citrus and faint malt. Palate is amazing. It has a medium mouth feel that is sufficiently carbonated and goes down very easily. Stone once again delivers, a great IPA. One of my all-time favorites right alongside Racer 5 and Firestone Walker Union Jack.

Big bold hoppy beer with a smooth bitter finish. This is a Stone Flagship beer. It defines the style.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 7, 2014 This is a bitter, yet aromatic and smooth IPA. It?s 6.9 ABV gives it a little more kick. I really want to stress how smooth this beer tastes on your tongue and goes down. It does have the bitterness, but as IPA?s go it is one of the better ones I have had. On draft and in a bottle. Better on draft.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very balanced IPA, I felt that the aroma was lacking a little bit but still there. It was also very well balanced and didn’t get too bitter or have too much of one element. The lacing was a little inconsistent and left something to be desired. Overall, this beer deserves its place amongst the top IPA’s on the market.

Visited San Diego great brew scene and Stone brewery kicks butt. This IPA is incredible. Light straw color tons of spicy citrus hop aromas and a great flavor to match and it gets better with ists crisp finish. Great brew
