By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

She a beauty! On tap @ Bardenay Boise for ever! Maybe. Maybe not. Any way the sales donít lie. When this beer is on the rotating IPA handle it sells twice as fast as Bridgeport, Full Sail, Lagunitas, Elysian, Fishtale or Haleís. Stone rules and if you donít agree u r in the minority. By the way....Great IPA.

bottle - By far one of the best IPAís around. Fresh, fruity hops aroma that you nose doesnít even need to get near to appreciate. Full beige head over a light golden liquid. Taste has a sweetness in an undertone, but is mostly hops and more hops. Finish is clean with the bitterness one hopes for in a good IPA.

Pours a hazy orange, with an impressive white head leaving great lacing. An intense, wonderful aroma of hops, floral notes and citrus. Hop blast to start the taste balanced by a lingering mild sweetness. Basically, what any IPA lover would look for. An incredible beer by any measure, and one of my ";goto’s"; when I can’t decide on anything.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2012 Hop floral aroma. Pours misty golden color. Medium palate with hop and malt taste. Has a delicious factor in it. Very good balance. Smooth finish.

This is an awesome IPA! Canít help but give it a perfect score as it embodies everything I like about an IPA. Big bold hops in the aroma and flavor, great pour, great head. Great start and great finish. The middle is off the charts!

Call me crazy, but this is not the best IPA Iíve had. That said, itís awesome. A good hoppy aroma. With a clean palate, my first taste was the overwhelming bitterness. That probably lowered my overall rating. About halfway through my first beer, though, the malt character caught up, and the bitterness was less pronounced. Itís a beautiful beer in a pilsner glass (my favorite), crystal clear with a nice soapy head. A little pricey here in the Midwest, but Iíll probably buy it again.

Just like me in the midst of a wild and crazy round of drunken hopscotch, this beer is HOPPY. Very crisp, bitter finish. I can understand how past raters have claimed its somewhat acidic, with an almost medicinal quality at times.. but still, a great beer. Those 70 IBUís hit your palate like a fat girl crashing a tricycle.

Very nice, Very clean IPA flavor. not as overpowering flavor-wise as some of the other offerings from Stone Brewing. This IPA has a nice crisp flavor, and it does not linger and burn your mouth like some of the super steriod-laden IPAs created for mere shock value.

Never been an IPA fan, so I canít say I cared for the hoppy aroma much at all. Nevertheless, I found it very fresh and drinkable.
