Thanks Radek! Appearance is a golden colour with a white as can be head. Aroma is hoppy......very hoppy. Cascade hops here? Anyway, the smell makes your mouth water. Taste is hoppy bitterness to the max. Everything about this beer is hops and bitterness up the ying yang. Nice one Stone!

bottle. Cloudy orange pour, a little white head which disappears soon. The aroma is very crisp: floral, grapefruit and sweet malts. This brew goes down easy, like juice. Spicy and bitter though balanced with caramel and brown sugar. Good easy drinking stuff, not as remarkable as the Ruination, needless to say.

Bottle best before April 28, 2009. It’s so rare to find fresh Stone in Knoxville, I was a little excited to snatch this one off the shelf at McScrooges. This beer has a pretty clear body, looks filtered, and a large white head forms and lasts. The aroma is delightful with assertive grapefruit, herbs, and pine. It’s a clean and juicy aroma. Ah, this is a good IPA with plenty of resinous quality and a strong hop dose in every sip. This one has plenty of grapefruit and grassiness but strays away from being heavily dank. It’s a clean and hoppy IPA which I certainly enjoy having access to.

(Bottle, thanks to Thaichile) Pours clear amber. Light head. Aroma of sweet fruits. Citrus and piney hops. Nuts, resin. Sultry smell. The flavour has a peppery feeling. Resin with some stickyness and alot of bittering hops. Fruity and oily. Leaves a numness in the mouth. Rather big afterbitterness. First sweet, then dry. Thich, malty body. Lovely.

Tried on tap at the brewery in one of those tiny taster glasses after going to the tour. The tour is great! 2 finger small bubble head of medium duration. (Perfect for me is a 1 finger head of long duration) . Yellow color. Wonderful hoppy aroma that sticks to your tongue and hangs out for a while. It’s great to try IPAs super fresh like this one. Bitter, but in a good summer refreshing way. Drinkability fades with time. My favorite of the tasting.

12oz bottle from Whole Foods (Tampa, FL). Pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a one finger white head that settles quickly but laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and slightly floral with notes of citrus, honey, bread and yeast. Flavor is also sweet and floral with notes of grapefruit, honey, citrus, bread, some lemon and pine. Generally light to medium body with a pleasing hoppy finish.

Pours dark golden orange with nice soapy white head. Huge pine hop aroma with just a touch of citrus. Lots of pine and citrus again in the flavor, but it doesn’t have as much of the bitterness you would expect from the aroma. Still very nice indeed.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy light amber color with one finger head. Nose is grapefruit, floral hops and malt. Palate is orange peel, pink grapefruit and caramel hops with a pine bite in the finish. Medium mouth feel and delicate, doily-like lacing. A very nice IPA that I took too long to try.

Wow! Great IPA. Nice blend of hops, great taste goes well with most food. Great aroma, citusy; a very light lemon/lime hint in aroma and taste, nothing standing out or over powering. Good palate, not overpowering and lingers for just about the right amount of time. Overall this is a well balanced great tasting IPA and one of the ales I can drink all night. Cheers!
