By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Pours golden, amberish, with a big head lasting a while. Aromas of fresh hops, floral, fruity, pineapple, pine. Awesome. Taste is similar, hoppy and fresh, fruity and refreshing. Long lasting bitterness follows. This really stands out of the IPAs I’ve drank this far. Great.

Serving: from tap at Stink. Aroma: moderate pine hop. Appearance: small, creamy, off-white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-yellow body. Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and finish with average duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: good, everyday beer that would be great for hot weather.

Bottle in LA. Wonderful grassy, citrus aroma. A similar taste with heavy bitterness up front. All in all a classic Weat Coast IPA. Super solid, but don’t get the extraordinary adulation. There are better IPAs.

Third of a litre at the Celle Bierfest, served in a Stone snifter. Brewed in Berlin. A: Golden amber colour, slight haze, one finger sized head, moderate retention, decent amount of lacing. S: Citrus and grapefruit, Cascade bomb. T: Wheat, pine and grapefruit. High on bitterness but kept it subtle and balanced. M: Low carbonation, medium body, went down well. O: I can’t really add too much to what has already been said, but the quality of Stone beers brewed in Berlin has held up. This is a classy American IPA.

Pours a cloudy orange, with a nice creamy head. Aroma is subtle with notes of pine and citrus. Tasting notes include pine resin, citrus, malts, and has a bitter finish. This is a classic, well crafted IPA!
