Golden-Copper with thin sticky white head. Grapefruit and floral aroma notes. Grapefruit, hop-bitter, and mild carmel notes. Refreshing with a lasting bitter finish.

bottle. very hoppy. i enjoyed this beer but apparently not as much as everyone else. The bitterness was a little overpowering for me.

Bottle: Poured a hazy light brown with a semi white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Good solid flavor but could be a bit stronger considering the rest of Stone’s lineup.

It’s a good beer. Top 3 not sure. Aroma is what should be expected. I would buy it again

Pours orange, white head. Aroma is hoppy, grapefruit Taste, hoppy and fruity, nice sugar, light caramel malts, with bitter hoppy finish. Just not a big fan of the West coast style IPA.

Poured cloudy yellow with an off-white head. Grapefruit aroma. Light and crisp with notes of citrus and grapefruit. Not overly bitter. Decent, but I do not quite get the hype.

pours a slightly hazy golden color with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly. aroma has lots of grapefruit, some pineapple, a touch of spice, and the faintest hin of some doughy maltiness. flavor has some maltiness...pilsner malt?...up front with spicy grapefruit overlapping it. mouthfeel is smooth with a lingering fruity and dry aftertaste. very nice but not the best ipa i’ve had.

Bouteille. Dégusté avec french tickler et Agaguk. Biere de couleur caramel clair avec un mince collet très collant. Odeur d’épinette, ail, carotte et épices. Gout floral, sucre, épices et un soupçon de sel.

So this is my first Stone beer, and I would have to say that I am not overly impressed, however not disappointed. It poured a hazy straw yellow with an eggshell white colored head. Aromas were mostly hoppy. I didn’t really pick up on any citrus like I do with many other IPA’s. Taste sort of translated, it was pretty hoppy and had a sort of bitter taste to it, with absolutely no citrus taste. Overall it is a decent IPA, however I like them to have a bit more balance to them than this. I will try some other stuff from Stone :)

Bomber served in a tulip. Hazy light orange color. Medium off-white head. Nose of sweet citrus (tangerine) and fresh pine. Refreshing and crisp. The bitterness dominates overall. Medium body. Not overly creamy, oily, thick, thin, or sticky. A good balance in mouthfeel. Smooth. This is good brew. Hold it!... As the beer warms the nose develops a heavy artificial floral soap fragrance. The anti-bacterial foaming kind with Aloe Vera and Vitamin B5. Eeehhhck!! Just lost some points. I will drink it faster next time.
