By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Meh... this IPA ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. It’s average at best, and not deserving of its high place on the ratings. Nugget Nectar blows this away completely. All of you have already had it, so I’m not even going to bother to tell you that this is an entry level IPA. Try it once and move on.

Aroma has pine and citrus on the head. Pours golden clear with good lacing and head. Finishes with light bitterness, but not terribly complex. Some sweetness in finish as well. On tap at Blue Monk.

Bottle. Pours a lightly hazy gold with thick foamy head. Aroma of oranges and hops. Taste of bitter with a slight citrus that lasts.

Pours gold with an off-white head which lingers. Hoppy aroma. Taste of grapefruit with a lingering bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: very clear gold color, pours with a very thick and dense white head that retains very well and has average lacing Aroma: all hops, grass, pine, citrus, could be stronger Taste: citrus, grass, pine, some malt back bone, bitter Palate: average c02, light mouthfeel, some froth, bitter aftertaste Overall: a good bitter IPA, I was a bit let down by the lack of complexity, it does have a good mouth feel

A medium bodied beer, it has a deep golden color and a small head. Its distinguishing characteristic is the overwhelming hoppy taste. Hops so overbalance the malt flavors, that the malt taste is nearly lost. This is a beer for people who love very strong, aromatic hops.

Beautiful beer. Frothy head good lacing. Citrus and grass. Almost balanced. Light fruity notes. Sticky mouth feel. Fair ipa, I wish it was fresher.

Pour hazy blond, two finger white head. Smell super big floral hops, sticky, pine needles Taste bitter floral sticky hops Mid body. Think Ruination may be easier to drink Good if you are into being punched in the face with bitter hops, well done

Nice aroma of fresh hops. Taste is hop forward over a crisp ale without being overly bitter or strong on alcohol. I would say this sets the standard for what IPA should be judged from.
