By definition, an India Pale Ale is hoppier and higher in alcohol than its little brother, pale ale-and we deliver in spades. Now one of the most well respected and best-selling IPAs in the country, this golden beauty explodes with citrusy flavor and hop aromas, all perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. This crisp, extra hoppy brew is hugely refreshing on a hot day, but will always deliver no matter when you choose to drink it.

Great IPA - a standard and for a good reason. Hints of grass, citrus, and extremely hoppy and delicious on the tongue that lingers after the finish. Extremely drinkable too.

One a few goto beers on a mass production I feel is perfect. Big hoppy aroma of mango stone fruit and pine. Very hoppy bitterness on the palate and perfect hoppy crisp finish.

The quintessential west coast IPA that defines everything great about the style. The appearance is translucent orange tinted gold. The head is creamy white. Super dank aromatics of pine and citrus. Apricot, grapefruit, lemon and tangerine dance around with fresh cut pine tree. The tasting treats the pallette to slightly toasted malt, refreshing citrus with a long dry pine finish. Clean, balanced malt bill let Stoneís talent for hop aggressiveness shine through. A brew that keeps me coming back for more and more.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Always wanted to try this and I finally got round to it! Beautiful aroma of tropical fruits, pine and peach. Appearance is a clear golden brown, with a light carbonation. Taste is well, wow! Initial hit of tropical fruit hoppiness and warm alcohol with a slight maltyness. Finish is bitter and long, really well balanced. Superb and well worth tracking down.

Oh you like Pine trees?? This IPA is the gold standard. Itís just perfect. Theres nothing here that an IPA lover would dislike. It has everything. Theres nothing else you can say about it. Resinous Pine, enamel melting, tones of tropical fruits just go apeshit as it warms up. Itís bitter as hell and you love it. This is a perfect IPA. Itís simple and delicious and I can and will drink this until Iím on the floor. Great stuff.

The holy grail of the class. There is a challenger noted earlier this evening but yet, this one remains my highest rated pure IPA. Wonderful concoction.

This brew is strong yet refreshing, crisp and hoppy. The hops triggered a response from my parietal glands. As my salivary glands started to spam, my ears and sinuses reacted in kind. This brew is phenomenal. It is not for those that proclaim patronage to the non-bitter beer institute. As the good book says, donít cast pearls before swine. This beer is for the conesuer, for one who appreciates perfection. California ales are definitely leading the way for these hop righteous brews. Stone and a few others are defining the new era in IPA brewskies!
