Golden pour with white head. Leaves lacing in the glass. Renowned for its hoppiness, this beer does not disappoint. Overall hoppy flavor with notes of citrus.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Golden color clear beer but with small stuff floating in (hops I quess) and half of finger of white head that last pretty long.
Aroma: 1st sweet orange and grapes, after warming up its more like mango, papaya. It’s almost perfect but there’s a little defect like garlic or something that doesnt fit in.
taste: light malty sweet, big a little lingering bitterness. Flavours of fruits and something between resin and grass.
Palate: medium body, low carbonation. Long finish.
Overall: Really good IPA. Wonderfull beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear, golden colour; nice, white head with lacing. Sweet, malty backbone, lot of sweet and citrus fruits, herbs and some honey from oxidation. Quite sweet taste, herbs and fruits. Medium bitterness.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355 ml bottle bought at Q-Club in SoHo, Central.
Looks: Translucent orange honey colour; Three-quarter finger head and crumpety white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Very good sticky lacing with quite fizzy small carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant Ale malt, with fresh lemon peel, orange, pineapples, grapefruits, floral, strong honey, pine, strong resin, yeast and sharp fresh grass.
Taste: Mid to light sweet Ale malt, with very strong lemon peels, grapefruits, honey, light molasses, strong pine, very strong resin ooze, dry biscuits, yeast, very strong bitter hops and fresh cut grass.
Body: Close to medium body; Slick, creamy and very oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Very Ale-malty, even a moderate to light body can’t hide its richness. Massive 2C attack with insanely strong fresh lemon peels and grapefruits, you can’t get any fruiter and bitter than this! Resin ooze is just as intense but strangely quite without being overbearing as in most IIPAs. Biscuity yeast and strong grassy hops to round. Impressive!
Hoppiness: Excellent lemon, orange, pineapple, floral, honey and strong ooze in nose. Equally massive lemony resin fresh grass in taste. Bitterness is very strong yet tasty and match very well with the fruity resin for a lasting, very strong bitter fruity peel finish.
After Taste: Dry. Very oozy and nice strong bitter to mouth.
Comments: The Stone Cali Belgie I had previously gave me a hint of what to expect of this, but I am so surprised and satisfied by its intriguing hoppiness: the “strong for strong sake” idea on most craft IPAs and IIPAs does not apply here, as the strong 2Cs and magnum work together so well it bring refreshing fruitiness, just right resin and tasty strong bitterness. Such nice combination is very rare and this one nails it. This is my kind of strong IPA. Y-E-S!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
WYGLĄD: Barwa złota, niemal idealnie klarowne. Piana wysoka, drobna, obfita, długa. Oblepia szkło.
AROMAT: Dosyć intensywny. Dominują zioła, wtórują im cytrusy. W tle karmel, owoce tropikalne (kokos, ananas i papaja).
SMAK: Analogicznie do zapachu. Bardzo ziołowy i orzeźwiająco cytrusowy. Długi posmak ziołowy z domieszką karmelu. Goryczka cytrusowa - wysoka, zalegająca.
OGÓLNIE: Niezwykle ziołowe pod każdym względem. Goryczka utrzymuje się bardzo długo. Piana zostaje do samego końca. Bardzo smaczne piwo.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas of juicy citrus, lemon, thyme, tropical, pineapple, papaya. Clear orange with a fully lasting white head. Pretty dry, pretty bitter, but nicely balanced by light nutty malts. Light-medium bodied. A delicious representation of the hop-strong, West Coast style. This beer kills it!

Bottle. Pours golden, clear with white stable head. Aroma of pine, resin with some tropical fruits underneath. In taste dry, almost no sweetness is left, nice pine and resin in flavour. In the finish strong bitterness, short and nice. Great IPA.

My first beer from Stone brewery. Purchased because of recommendation from a friend. Very good brew, likely to purchase again. I've got a few more from Stone to try. Judging by this one, I'd say I'm in for a treat.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very nice fruity, citrusy and lemongrass aroma. It might be a bit more intensive though. Golden color, perfectly clear beer, with nice white head and awesome lacing. In taste it’s completely dry, has no sweetness at all. Typical west coast IPA. It’s great, refreshing, very drinkable. Has strong hoppy flavours - fruits, a bit of grass, with big noticeable malty back. Very pleasant and high quality bitterness. Great classic, super beer.
