3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beautiful amber pour with a mocha head and respectable lacing. Citrus hop aroma with a faint undertone of vanilla. Taste was nice but a little too understated for me. Substantial mouthfeel. Aftertaste was a fairly good balance of malt and hops, but a little on the brassy side.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours copper-red with a two-finger white head. Spicy, resinous hop aroma. The flavor tends towards balance: all the maltiness of an amber coupled with the lovely citric hop of Stone. Reminds me of North Coast’s Red Seal. Awesome beer, aggressively American, yet refined.

Draft. Amber pour with an off white yellowed head. Aroma of citrus, toasted malt, light caramel and pine. Flavors of toasted malt, citrus, caramel, pine, and light floral notes. Medium/light body, bitter/malty with a lingering bitter finish. Nice brew!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hard pour results in a cloudy brown color, with a respectable white head. Aroma is light but pleasant. Flavor is well balanced, with caramel on the front, and floral/citrus on the end. Palate is thin but present. Dry finish. Overall a VERY good sesson beer, that improves with a bit of temperature (45 or higher).

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark copper amber, clear, with a thick almond coloured, long-lived head. Moderately malty, huge passionfruit and resinous hop character, big bitter finish. This sets a new standard for regular (low) ABV, easy drinking beers. Outstanding.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Poured a clear deep amber color with a small off white head. Malts and caramel on the nose. Taste is malty with some caramel and a bitter hoppy finish. Light mouth feel - decent lacing. A lot more flavor than I expected. Not a bad beer, but not great.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle from Henry’s. Pours an amber-brown color with a one finger beige head that dissipates to 1/4 inch. The aroma is strong with citrus, caramel and a bit of fresh cut grass. The flavor is big for a low abv amber ale, there are roasted grains, biter hops, spices and rye bread. The mouthfeel starts a bit thin but builds to a nice full pasty conclusion. The finish is very long and sticky with walnuts, caramel and biter hops hanging on forever. Overall: This beer redefines the standard for an amber ale, very nice. Recommended.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured a nice dark amber/copper color with nice white head that lasted quite a while. Aroma is of citrus hops. Flavor is also of citrus hops with a bit of maltiness coming through. This is a nice sessionable amber ale with a high degree of drinkability. Mouth feel was good and lacing on glass was light.
