Commercial Description:
This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

On tap. Clear amber golden with an off-white head. A little caramel and hops in the nose. Medium body, sweetish burned caramel but a rather subdued malt feel. The finish is dry and lightly hoppy. Very quaffable. 070709

Very hoppy, i thought. crisp, carbonated, not what i would expect from an amber ale. nice effort for a lower side abv brew by stone.

On draft at Teresa’s. Poured deep copper with fluffy head. Pronounced piney, citrus flavor. Expectedly thin. A really nice effort for a low ABV brew.

On tap at Stone. Copper with off-white head to lace to ring. Sweet, hoppy, sugary IPA nose. Smells great. Taste is dry, quick, and not as sweet as the nose would lead you to believe. Thin with hay. Lightly bitter.

Appearnace is dark copper with plenty of carbonation. Aroma is a huge, floral hoppy treat. Very surprising. Taste is big and hoppy. I had to check the label again to verify this was 4.4%abv. This is a really big beer for a session beer. Finishes very clean without an overwhleming hop note. This has got to be the little brother of Arrogant Bastard...

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, grapefruit, pine, and a little bit of pale malt. Poured copper/deep orange in color with a small, tan head that lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is light to medium bitter and lightly sweet. Tastes of hops, pine, grapefruit, and pale malts. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Light to medium bitter, grapefruit, pine, and hop finish. It’s lacking something.

Sampled as part of a sixer. A really nice amber ale. Pours dark amber with a thin amount of head. Drinks really hoppy and strong malts that were roasted mildly. Really nice brew.

Brewed in the USA...... Courtesy of The Capt, thanks Mark. Pours brown amber color with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, malts and toffee. The taste has a grapefruit flavor with some hops, bread, malts and pepper. The mouthfeel is zesty with some wonderful carbonation, hoppy bitterness and is well balanced. This would be absolutely essential for those hot summer nights.
