3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
good beer, excellent hoppy aroma, excellent taste, you would think an ale that tastes as good and smells as good as this one would have a slightly higher ABV, it could be mistaken for an IPA except for its lack in alcohol, low ABV is the beers only downfall, oh and its name.....one CAN NOT levitate from only 4.4% alcohol (only .2 higher than bud-light....WTF!!!!!)

At 4.4% it is not a strong as the label would insinuate. Levitation smelled mildly of peach and tasted of caramel. It had good balance between hop and malt. A nice mid-range amber ale.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good beer, very hoppy-- both in aroma and taste. Finishes with quite a bitter taste, but still very drinkable (though a bit low on alcohol).

Double dry hopped version on tap at Stone. Big hoppy aroma. Sweet caramel taste with bitter hoppy pine and citrus notes and a lingering floral finish.

THis is a very tasty beer, one of my favorite Stone ales. I only wish the alcohol content was a bit higher. Great citrusy flavor, full of hops...

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber color with a pretty big cakey head. Aroma dominated by grapefruit hops with just a bit of malt mixed in. Taste is of grapefruit hops and earthen/caramel malts. OK, but considering how great their IPA and big beers are, this one disappoints.

Their lightest beer. It has to be. A good recommendation for the buddy who really thinks the buds, coors, and millers are good beers. Might be a nice stepping stone. Otherwise, it’s just yuor standard light amber ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
A another solid beer from stone. Bottled, pours a hazy amber with thick head and lacing. Citrus and earth hop aroma, very malty body if a bit thin. medium finish. Not overpowering and quite drinkable. A good session beer for sure.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 Oz Bottle. A sweet piney musk flows for with resinous glands, white pine boughs, and fresh rain. Pours a lightly cloudly ruddied amber with frothy soaps of deep stained ivory. On the tongue, a bright fresh tangy whip of mild malt and wicking hop cones. A middle ground for both malt balance and hop play. Nicely floral and citrus, with some pine tar. A bit of cherry and plum work through the hop forest. Mostly the hops shine in a coarse, vegetal glow on the bitterness level. Quality hop flavor is lacking for me. Otherwise, a nice drinker.

Sampling at the brewery. Deep amber color. Slight butter, hoppy (grapefruit).
