Commercial Description:
This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

Bottle from TheCaptain, thanks Mark. This beer is a hophead’s wet dream. Absolutely packed with hop flavor and aroma but with little enough alcohol that you can sip on it all night. Dark amber with good head retention. Notes of pine, citrus, toast, and a bit of grass. Restrained bitterness. Delicious.

Dark amber pour with a fluffy amber head and sticky lace. Hoppy aroma. Resinous, citrusy, and thick malty backbone. Very nice and quite quaffable

Had this out of a bottle. Pours a dark brown with little foam that disipates quickly. I like it, not as hoppy a beer as I would like. Nice caramel flavor. I do reconmend it.

Another nice effort by Stone! Pour is caramel color with a tan head. A nose full of tart hops along with some caramel. Flavor is the same along with some wood notes. Hops rule here with grapefruit and pine. Caramel is in the background. It would not be a stretch to categorize this as an IPA.

Bottle Pours out a dark amber topped with a small off white head. Aroma of crisp pine hops. A toast malt. Tast more of the crisp hops, a little floral. Malts are well done . A little melon and light bitter at the end. A nice daily drinker.

Citrusy hoppy nose, orange copper amber color, good lacing. Crisp mildly btter taste -- not sweet as expected. BIgger than the ABV would suggest. Very nice

very good, has an equal balance between malts and hops, gives a caramel flavor while the hops are grassy and slightly piny. medium palate. and very drinkable.
