Pours a hazy light brown in color with a modest sized head. The aroma is lightly toasted, somewhat phenolic, with a citrus note. It has a light to medium body, flavor notes of citrus, grassy hops, and a malty sweetness note. Great session beer if you like light hoppy ales. yesyouam (589), Fairport, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 13, 2009 Stone Levitation Ale is a very clear amber with a thin, yellowed, off-white head that leaves good lacing. It has a resinous citrus aroma that’s loud and fresh. It’s medium-light bodied, sudsy and smooth with a clean, crisp finish. It’s quite bitter. There’s a touch of caramel in the flavor, but it’s mostly resiny pine and citrus. It’s a strong, clean flavor. It’s top-heavy, but it’s great. jbye4334 (658), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Very present floral and herbal notes with a hint of malt sweetness. On the tongue it is hard hitting with its present hop bitterness, which is quite refreshing. It finishes smooth with a hint of malt sweetness. twitcher (293), framingham, Massachusetts, USA

Dark reddish amber color, thick and full half inch of off-white foamy head that clears quick but active carbonation keeps a layer there. Aromas of earthy cut grass and flowers, smooth even sweetness and some light citrus notes. Flavor starts with crisp sharp citric bitterness. SPicy black pepper. Muted toasted bready sweetness in the back. Peppery, citric hop character stays throughout. Light and easy drinking on the palate, full flavored, light bitter finish. SUperb session brew, one of the better offerings from Stone. fonefan (11003), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 11, 2009 Amber body with a nice off white head. The aroma is super biscuity, and toasty, like toasted multigrain bread. The hops really shine for an Amber Ale, like a hop bag that was just pulled out from dry hopping. Citrusy & Earthy… I can crush this beer all day every day… what a wonderful go to beer especially for Florida… Man, although a bit bias, I can’t wait to have this readily available in the near future!
