| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Alefest sample. Aroma is decent with plenty of pine and citrus hops but this was lacking on flavor. Feels watery and with low carbonation. Decent but disappointing. AndyReynolds (281), Wilder, Kentucky, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 26, 2008 Poured a golden color with a thick white head. The aroma was hoppy with hints of pine and grass. Everything was awesome about this beer until it went in my mouth. It tasted very flat and watered down. It was almost trying to be an IPA, but couldn’t pull it off. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Starts with a nice creme colored head atop a deep golden-amber beer. Slightly yeasty aroma that could have been stronger. Tasted flat with some hops, had a watery feel to it and a bitter finish. Avatar (82), Gliwice, Poland

Little bit dry and sweet-bitter. Hint of citrus. Lot of hops. Little bit like IPA. surlysober (41), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 14, 2008 FIRST TRIAL: Pours a nice ruddy reddish brown with a tightly packed creamy head; aroma is grassy hops and lightly toasted malt; the bitter/grassy hop finish nicely cleanses the palate and balances out the touch of sweet malt in the flavor. Overall this was a dynamite second beer and helped clean off the remnants of the supersticky creme brulee stout that was left on my palate from the previous beer. I was pleasantly surprised by this, and am now even more pleased that Stone has made it to Wisconsin. cgort (52), mission viejo, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2008 This poured an amber color with a frothy head. It had strong hop flavors and scents. Also had a bread flavor in the end. Overall it was a good beer. yespr (12018), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2008 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours cloudy and dark orange with a lacing white head. Aroma is dense fruity hoppy with a dry caramel malt base beneath. Very dry fruity and solid bitter flavour. Bone dry into the finish. A bit too hoppy, could use some malt to counter balance this imho.
