3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle into snifter glass. Dark copper amber color with off-white head. Aroma of mostly earthy hops, some citrus and surprisingly minimal caramel malt. Taste brings out more of the caramel malt sweetness typical for the style, bitter citrus hops come out for balance. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp with a dry finish. Pretty good, heavier on the hops then most amber ales (like Stone is with most styles).

355ml bottle into a shaker glass; served cold.
Aroma: Crisp, pine hop. A little malt poking through.
Appearance: Clear ruby/amber body with a thin off-white cap. Decent lacing.
Taste: Nice piney hop. Not too bitter at all. Quite tasty!
Palate: Light bodied for sure. A good long finish, though. Ends on citrusy hops.
Overall: Underrated. Lower-alcohol, lighter bodied, but doesnít skimp on flavor at all. Great stuff!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber-red with a medium off white head. Aroma is pine-like hops and freshly brewed black tea. Taste is a beautiful blend of the above aromas and perfectly balanced. The pine (maybe citrus rind too) hop flavors and black tea-like bitterness arive up front and go all the way to the finish. The malt flavors are so much like tea its crazy. Awesome amber!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A- Pours a beautiful copper color with a chunky 1.5 finger head that sticks around for a while. This is definitely how an amber ale should look.
S- Smell is very malty, caramel, with hints of pine on the back end.
T- Taste is very smooth, wheaty, long piney hop notes, caramel, slight floral taste.
M- Thin to medium bodied with medium carbonation.
D- For a 4.4 percent beer, it gives you a ton of flavor. Great session brew. At the price I think I would rather have one of their other offerings though.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a transparent copper color with plenty of bubbles and a foamy white head. Has a grassy, pine, aroma. Taste is heavy on the pine, with some citrus and moderate hops. This has the character of an IPA more so than any amber ale I have had, but itís the best amber Iíve had so far. Has a medium body feel with some carbonation. Delicious.
