330ml bottle from Ølhandleriet. Tiny white head. Clear, but slightly cloudy amber body. Aroma of light hops, citrus, yeast and butter. Quite sweet on the tongue, bitter long lasting taste.

Bottle. Citrus hops is my overriding memory of this beer - not ragingly hoppy though. Light and flavourful. Nothing inspiring came to mind while drinking, but it was a good refreshing beer to start the evening with.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours deep amber, with a thick white fluffy head. Aromas of grapefruit and pine dominate, backed up by an aggressive better flavour that leads into malt and a sour grapefruit finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hoppy aromas, citrusy, caramel and malts there too. Medium head, leaves a nice lacing. Taste of hops and malt, palate is fullish. Overall pretty nice, I’d have another :) Prefer this to the stone pale ale.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice, clear amber colour and a small tan head. Kind of faint aroma which I can’t quite make out, hops and some berries I think? Taste has some bitterness to it which lingers for a while. Slightly hoppy taste with some citrus. Soft mouthfeel and easy carbonation. Very easy to drink beer but somehow I was left disappointed.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a bottle. Pours a dark red with fair amount of tan head. Appears well carbonated. Smells very hoppy. I taste tones of roasted malts and hops, along with citrusy goodness.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On-Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom, poured into Shaker Pint glass.
pours a medium brown that has a copper glow around the glass with a creamy white head that dissolves into a broken ring around the shaker. Aroma has caramel malt, tart cranberry and earthy hops. Very unique aroma for an Amber. Flavor is a little watery upfront but develops into a caramel and toffee, once it shows itself, and a mild bitterness. It has a light-medium body that coats your mouth with every sip. Extremely sessionable and unique ale but the nose leads you to believe it may be more complex than it ends up being.

Great power on the nose lovely spicy hops, very deep red with thin head. Lovely fresh vibrant beer, loads of delightful citrus/grapefruit/resin & a nice dry finish but tempered by rounded maltiness. For a beer at 4.4% this packs great flavour & balance
