3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hoppy aromas, citrusy, caramel and malts there too. Medium head, leaves a nice lacing. Taste of hops and malt, palate is fullish. Overall pretty nice, I’d have another :) Prefer this to the stone pale ale.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice aroma. Lots of yeast in suspension in my glass, after pouring most of the beer out carefully. Lots of maltiness.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: to the point. HOPS! I likened it to a Ruination without the alcohol content, basically a pared-down version of the aforementioned. A great beer for washing down particularly salty, accessible foods, say, gourmet onion rings or nachos.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a fantastic deep amber. Head sticks to the glass, and does not want to let go. Hops are forefront in the aroma. Still well balanced with the malt. Very good beer. Mild beer in alcohol.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Refreshing. Pours dark golden amber with just shy of half an inch of head. For such a light beer the head does stay around nicely. Hops on the nose but not a whole lot else. Laces the glass really well, especially for such a light beer. Leaves the palate in a way that I am not used to when it comes to Stone beer. Nice though for this style of beer, could be a bit more powerful, but what are you gonna do?

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark reddish amber color, thick and full half inch of off-white foamy head that clears quick but active carbonation keeps a layer there. Aromas of earthy cut grass and flowers, smooth even sweetness and some light citrus notes. Flavor starts with crisp sharp citric bitterness. SPicy black pepper. Muted toasted bready sweetness in the back. Peppery, citric hop character stays throughout. Light and easy drinking on the palate, full flavored, light bitter finish. SUperb session brew, one of the better offerings from Stone.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught. Poured translucent ruby with a light white head. Aroma was citric and floral hops, caramel, honey, and slightly fruity. Flavor was slightly citric, light caramel, and honey finished by a strong bitterness that was somewhat resinous. Palate was nicely smooth and the bitter punch added some depth but overall was light compared to other Stone brews. Definitely a nice session beer but could use some complexity.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: MAR 9, 2009 Deep copper color, crystal clear, nice beige head. Aroma of caramel malt and slight hop spice. Thin mouthfeel, hoppy, but too watery and thin to really let the hops shine. Watery, watery, watery. I know that this is a session beer, low alcohol, but give me something, some body. It is beautiful, has decent aroma, but no body to carry any flavor. AND, IT IS THE SAME PRICE AS THE EXCELLENT STONE IPA?????????? I would rather drink 1 or 2 less IPAs than session drink this beer.
