3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great session beer, but more like an English best bitter, but with US hop character than an American Amber ale. Meh, definitions, itís still a tasty beer and great for a session.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer pours a clear amber with a large, frothy head. It has a rich hops aroma and the it has a heavy alcohol aroma as well. Itís a bit more bitter than I was hoping and is very reminiscent of an IPA. It has a pretty light body. Itís not bad but I wish I didnít have to buy a six-pack to try it.

Hoppy aromas, citrusy, caramel and malts there too. Medium head, leaves a nice lacing. Taste of hops and malt, palate is fullish. Overall pretty nice, Iíd have another :) Prefer this to the stone pale ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured an amber color with a medium head. mild citrus hop aroma with heavy malt presence. When I first tasted this I couldnít believe it only had 4.4% alcohol. This is very well balanced and very flavorfull for that type of alcohol content. a mild hoppy flavor with a big rich malt flavor and some caramel notes. Thanks DarkElf!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Caramel sweetness, sourdough and slight pineyness all come out to play on the nose of this one. Taste is very doughy bread and a pleasant bitterness that holds on throughout but it finishes very clean. Mouthfeel is near perfect for a session. Very good brew, awesome session brew. Thank you Stone. 2009 12 oz.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours deep amber/red. Two finger off white head with lots of lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, pine. Taste is moderately sweet with citrus/pine bitterness. Body is medium which is strange for itís ABV, moderate carbonation. Slightly creamy. Finishes resin West Coast hop bitterness, notes of pine, dark malts, and dark fruit. Good session ale.
