COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

Beautiful golden color with an average head. Medium bodied ale. It is overly hoppy. The dominant hops overpowers the malt taste and leaves a dry, bitter aftertaste. Otherwise, it is a very good ale.

Bottle from cellarbrations super store in hami hill. Pours a dark red with a thin white head and leaving some lacing. Aroma is very subtle with some citrus. Body is medium and carbonation mild. Taste is quite hoppy up front with some citrus notes. At the end of the palate the malt comes thru with some roasted peanuts and hints of burnt toast. Pretty good drinking. This would probably be amazing fresh!

On tap at Spitzer’s Corner, New York. Pours dark amber with off-white head. Nice fruity hoppy aroma and taste. Caramel, toffee, bitter finish. Light bodied.

Enjoy by date of 02/17/15. Ruh roh, the sooner the better, right? This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice hazy amber/red colored body. A one finger white foamy head dissipated within about a minute leaving some light ringy lacing stringing itself around the glass. The smell had a fairly big dried out citrus rolling all around in a slight peppery spice. The taste copied the smell and added a quick dry peppery spiced aftertaste leading to a dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. I’d say it was appropriately styled. Overall, I’d say it was a good Amber/Red. It’s too bad that this is getting retired. Oh well.

355ml bottle at home, from Good Spirits Company, Glasgow - clear deep amber brown, good beige head, pine and grapefruit in the aroma, good lacing, pine and grapefruit again in the flavour, oily, high carbonation, well balanced

Pours a dark amber color with a medium beige head that left plenty of lacing around the glass. The aroma is hops, citrus, grapefruit, and pine. The taste is very similar to the aroma. Up front you pick up the hop bitterness and pine but on the back end you get the citrus and some bready malts.

12 oz. bottle at home. I can’t believe I hadn’t rated this yet. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted malts, caramel, citrus and resiny hops, mild to moderate bitterness, very good considering the low abv, nice session ale.

Like the name implies, it pours an amber color with off white head. Closer to an IPA I think than an amber ale. Pretty bitter.

Hoppy, citrusy aroma, quickly fades to malty, toasty, roasty and caramel scents. Modest off white head settles to a fine layer. Roast, burnt sugar, toasty and caramel flavours are present, with a strong and lasting bitterness. Mild citrus flavour.

Ok beer , too hoppy, not impressive. For a red ale, this is not the traditional style, needs more malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Tastes like pale malt, light grapefruit, light pine hops. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like pale malt, light pine, and light sweet grapefruit.
