This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

Dark copper pour with a thick tan head. Floral nose.No balance here. All hop bitterness with nothing to back it. Not one of Stones best.

Well, itís the worst of Stoneís offerings, but thats not a bad thing overall. A great drinkable beer indeed. If there was a Top 10 list of beers under 5% ABV this one would be on top for sure.

Bottle, poured clear copper color with a thin white head. Light aroma, hoppy of course (it's a Stone brew after all) but also some honey and malt. Very flavorful for a "lighter" beer - nice malt backbone and lots of spicy, citrusy hops with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and good carbonation.

I think its that ambers are very subtle and uninteresting beers and not so much the fact that this wasnít that good. For an amber this was really nice, but i think it was still a bit of a let down. Aroma gives off tons of citrus hops, kinda getting your hops up. The flavor has a mild caramel malt presence up front finishing not nearly as hoppy as the aroma let on, but still very hoppy for an amber. Pours nice, darker copper, very clear, with a medium white head.

Floral, sweet, hoppy herbal aroma with hints of brown sugars. Almost smells like a bitter. Transparent amber color with a foalmy light tan head and nice lacing. Start is somewhat thin with significantly roasted malts in the middle. Quite toasty. Mild hoppiness to finish. Rather thin to finish. Decent every day session beer, although the burnt toastiness is a little harsh for my palate.

Clean and clear copper ale sporting a loose tan head. Gassy CO2 aroma with light floral hops. Toffee and spicy hop fruity flavor finishing bitter and clean. Seems more like a British Pale Ale than an Amber. Well balanced and easy to drink.

another amber ale courtesy of Saarlander, thanks Aaron. Same appearance as the SA Boston Ale, aroma was similiar as well. the difference came in this one being more well rounded in the flavor profile as compared to the SA being more front loaded in flavor. a pleasant easy drinking beer.

Pours a clear dark orange color with a decent-sized head. Smells of caramel and maybe some butterscotch, tastes like hops, citrus, hops, caramel, and some hoppity hops. Finishes dry and leaves a pretty bitter taste in my mouth - not something I could drink all night.
