This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

Dark amber color in the glass with a small head. It has a mild aroma of hops and leaves. Taste has some carbonation which I noticed first. Slight taste of citrus but bitterness overrides everything.

Smells fantastic, toffee notes. Looks good too, a burnt Amber. Tastes very light but with a creamyness. Very refreshing.

The beer pours a dark copper color with a small light brown head. A smell of wicked strong hops and not much else. The taste is pretty good but lacking somthing. Good carbonation and a nice beer.

From someone else six-pack: Pours an amber color with a very nice beige head. Aroma is piny hops for the most part, along with some metallic aspect. Taste is bitter with a mellow finish. Taste is fine, albeit not too interesting. I’m gonna chug the whole six-pack for that is what it is good for.

Bottle from Kris Wines. Reddish brown colour with disappearing white head. Hoppy aroma with grapefruit and pine. Taste is also hoppy following the nose but somewhat one dimensional. The background is a bit thin and watery, trying to make an English strength beer with American IPA techniques but not enough malt character to hold the hops. Pleasant but not special.

Poured from stubbie a clear pale golden amber colour with a white foamy head that lasts and laces well. Moderate to high carbonation. Aroma dominated by hops. Taste very much dominated by hops then followed by a faint malt sweetness - quite bitter on the pallette. Medium body. Very long bitter hops finish. Nice for a lover of hoppy beers.

Pours a deep copper amber in color with a thin soapy head. Nice citrusy pine aroma. Interesting sweet toasted malt flavor followed by a bit of bland stale hops. Overall, tasty but not that great... At least its sessionable...

Amber in color with an average off-white head. Aroma is of malt water, light roastiness, biscuit, and spicy hops. Taste is of pine, malt, multi-grain crackers, and leaves.

(draught) medium deep amber, wispy light tan bubbles. Nose of caramel, tropical fruit, light citrus, citrus zest. Watery caramel, very toasty, bitter in a weird way. Medium body, toasty and nutty finish.

355 ml bottle @ Patricks. Practically clear amber body with a moderate sized off-white head. Quite light, but nice citric aroma, peaches, grapefruit, pine and caramel. Fresh anf fruity flavor with soft malt, pleasant bitterness and citric fruit. Medium body and medium aftertaste. Nice and easy to drink beer, but a bit to plain for wanting another.
