COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

Tap. Clear amber pour with a squatty tan head. Floral aroma with pine and malt. Subtle malt and hop blend with a roasty end. A nice change from Stone.

The lightest and most drinkable stone brew. I would assume that most women would prefer this beer over alot of the other stone brews. I actually don’t know any chicks who like stone brew. I am a dude so I have no say, but, if i would recommend this beer on a hot day, or for a kegger. i dont taste pine or caramel, i just taste a lighter, less hoppie beer.

hazy dark red, wispy beige head, drops of lace, sweet caramel aroma with nice citrus hops, nice caramel malt flavor, well balanced to have just a bit of sweetness with lots of hop flavor,

Amber brown color, with a creamy, beige head, some lace. Aroma is mildly citrusy with some malt and bitterness. Hops come through a bit more in the taste than in the nose. Overall, a nicely balanced beer with a good flavor.

Bottle: Pours a amber brown with a medium sized sandy head. Little bits of lacing. Nose is hoppy with florals and citrus, flavor remains hoppy with some malt. Remains on the hoppy side for an amber - which I like. Still, it lacks the maltiness and roast and steers more towards an American Pale.

On tap at stone. Dark brown color with this interesting purple tint with off-white head. Aroma is strong pine hop with some dark malt. Flavor is pine, dark malt, a little tannic, medium sweet. Medium body and well carbonated. Strong hop presence and slight rich malt.

Bottle. Poured a clear deep amber color with a small off white head. Malts and caramel on the nose. Taste is malty with some caramel and a bitter hoppy finish. Light mouth feel - decent lacing. A lot more flavor than I expected. Not a bad beer, but not great.

This was a great ale, with nice malt tones and big hops in the aroma and flavor. It wasn’t too bitter, but pretty well balanced. A decent brew.

I’ve seen six packs of this beer forever, but never until today saw a single bottle available for purchase. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but it’s certainly not one of the better stone brews.
