This deep amber ale has rich & roasty malt flavors, a big hoppy character, citrus overtones (courtesy of the hops and our special brewers yeast) and modest alcohol.

From keg at Brewdog Shoreditch. Pours clear amber brown with off white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, hops, some fruitiness. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter, dry, hoppy, some citrus, bit sour, roasted malt hints. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with medium carbonation. Ok.

Bottle. Another winner from Stone. They should brew more lower gravity stuff because they are so good at it. Deep amber in color. Medium head. Aroma is really well balanced as is the flavor.

Bottle from red elephant truro uk. Aroma is floral, citrus, piney hops and malt. Taste is lovely - citrus and piney hops with a nice balanced maltiness and smooth bitter aftertaste. A great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle. Pours a fairly clear deep amber, with a medium off-white head, which lasts well and leaves very good lacing. Toffee malt provides a base for floral, pine and leafy hops notes, which make for a very pleasant aroma. Lemon and floral hops and almost tonic water flavour up front lead into rich toffee and rye bread malt in the mid-palate. Rye bread persists into the finish, where it is joined by pine hops. A very well-balanced and flavoursome amber ale.

This liquid poured a dark red-amber with a light, soapy, white head. The aroma is dusty, peppery, rye with no body. Small amounts of lacing on the glass, and very sticky. The palate is thin as well, no body and the taste is bitter, unpleasant and a little salty. I’m am really disappointed in this offering from Stone; it is only disagreeable with no redeeming qualities at all.

Cask at Churchkey. Labeled as dry-hopped with Simcoe. Clear copper, big-bubble edge head. Aroma of fresh hops. Flavor has caramel candy with a smoke edge. Very smooth. Bitter throughout. Nice.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear amber. Untidy, off white, foamy head. Fruity sweet. Grassy hop. Taste is slightly, spicy dry. Some bitterness follows. Palate is a little watery. Finishes light bitter. Good session beer, albeit a bit thin.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines, cheers Ash! Pours clear red-brown, thick off-white head. Aromas of pine, citrus, fruity hops. Taste brings malt character, near toffee, and more orange citrus. Light body, a tad thin perhaps, but a nice, long bitter finish. Good.
