4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Took me forfuckingever to find this beer. Draft at Proof. Deep amber pour with a tan head that laces all the way down. Aroma of sweet roasted caramel malts, light bread and wood, earthy and pine hops. Flavor had more of a dominant barrel vanilla and wood character with more smooth creamy caramel malts, notes of wood vanilla, earthy piney hops. Booze very well hidden and a long bitter finish. Damn good beer.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared with Brian at home. Snifter pours are mostly clear deep brown. Not much head or lace. Aroma is very malty, caramel, toffee, oak barrel, booze, and figs. The taste is also a malt bomb with caramel and toffee, oak barrel, booze, and figs. The mouth is slightly dry but the finish is very flavorful and oak barrel. Low carb, high flavor. Very good.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a nice deep amber brown with an of white head that could have a little more presence. Still, a lovely beer... Aroma of: caramel, and cereal. Taste is not balanced but still very enjoyable. Actually it’s pretty bomb. Sweet and sour give way to salty and bitter. Lingering bitter palate is quite enjoyable. Stone Brewing for the win.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap @ Copper Coin. Pours bright dark reddish amber with thin lacy off-white head. Aroma is dry oaky caramel malt, slight bourbon on the finish. Taste is big roasty caramel malt, lots of oaky notes and some lightly sweet bourbon on the back. Very dry on the finish. Lots of malt here. Truly a mix of the constituent beers. Definitely drier and oakier than regular Arrogant Bastard.

Nice golden copper pour. The taste of all three brews is intense. I get a bit of barley wine in this as well. Solid brew.
