A tasty bonus sent to me by PeteinSD. Deep black pour with a mocha brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, bourbon and vanilla. Taste is creamy smooth, roasted malt, a touch of bourbon and vanilla and oaky dryness. Simply, its just a damn tasty beer from start to finish. Alcohol well hidden by the plethora of flavors.

Big barrel and of roast. Some coffee. Lots of dark chocolate. Very well done and a good stout overall but slightly too heavy on barrel for my liking. Bottle at tasting.

December 27, 2014 - bottle purchased at Stone. Black pour with limited head. Aroma was a nice bourbon with rich coffee and some chocolate. Taste was consistent with aroma and the roasted malt was noticeable. The finish was a touch bitter with some dry alcohol.
